SNOW BAY will arrive here full of confidence after two easy wins and, despite being 5lb higher than the latest of those at Musselburgh earlier this month, he is fancied to extended his winning sequence. Guest Book was 2 1/2-lengths behind the selection last time (finishing second) and should be able to close the gap on 12lb better terms, while Amethyst Dawn ended last season in cracking form and warrants respect on her return to action.

Watch out for: Guest Book (14)

Arabian Spirit returns on a very fair mark and is unlikely to be found wanting for lack of fitness, so must be considered having landed the plum stall. However, it may pay to side with Suits Me on his debut for a bang-in-form yard as this is his easiest assignment for some time. Steed also needs considering having recently proved his effectiveness on turf.

The fact that Paul Hanagan opts to ride DEAUVILLE FLYER rather than Halla San for his boss, Richard Fahey, looks a tip in itself. The son of Dubai Destination can always be relied upon to give his all and both trip and ground conditions should suit today. English Summer may prove best of Dr Marwan Koukash's four runners, while Kayef has been running well over timber recently and cannot be ruled out on his first Flat start in the UK.

LAUNCH ON LINE made a bright start to her career when runner-up on the all-weather at Lingfield last month (fourth has won since) and, with improvement expected, she gets the vote to go one better today. Beau Mistral wasn't disgraced first time out at Doncaster and, like the selection, that experience should stand her in good stead, while any market support for Arcticality or Mebsuta on debut could be worth noting.

William Haggas won this event with Harris Tweed 12 months ago and his half-brother, Beaten Up, is an interesting newcomer today but GOODNESS looks the one to beat for Sir Michael Stoute. His debut fourth over 1m at Newbury in October looks rock solid as the race has thrown up plenty of winners and this extra yardage will almost certainly help. Galloping Queen will be hoping to put her experience to good use.

Goodness should improve this season and, upped in trip, is fancied to get the better of Honest Deal and Galloping Queen on his reappearance.
