SOUTH DAKOTA has been frustrating to follow this season, but Aidan O'Brien's colt has a profile that suggests he will improve with racing and gets a tentative vote in this competitive contest. Joga Bonita improved with the application of cheekpieces on his last start at Galway and it looks as if the son of Territories hasn't hit his ceiling yet. It was too bad to be true for Full Volume at Gowran Park when losing his action. He looks to make amends and isn't without a chance.

GIVEHERTILXMAS shaped with significant improvement on her latest start when finishing third at Roscommon the application of first-time cheekpieces may help him finally get off the mark. Angel Of Promise has a wide draw to contend with but can be competitive after a good fifth on her latest start, while an each-way chance is given to Glen Breeze, who has been in decent form this season.

EARLS looked back to form with a fine third at the Galway Festival and with the nine-year-old set to love conditions, this may be an ideal opportunity to get his head back in front. Eddie G arrives seeking a hat-trick and commands the utmost respect with Sam Coen taking 5lb off, while the application of blinkers for the first time may see Gavoo in a better light.

GOD OF POWER was a good third on his latest start at Gowran and looks the type to improve for the step up in distance. Dial Me In hasn't quite gone on in a pair of outings in competitive handicaps but this level may be more to his liking. Hazdann was off the track for over a year when having his comeback in Navan and is entitled to progress from that display.

ALMAZANN has a string of seconds to his name but has been running very well in defeat and should be too good for his rivals. Mawhibah looked unbalanced when runner-up on her latest start at Tramore and has to enter calculations. Cosmetic is another who has performed creditably without winning and if the daughter of Frankel gets away on the front end, she could prove difficult for her rivals to catch.

LETIZA has shaped well on her most recent outings and looks to have a great chance to gain a third career success. Thyer has been knocking on the door in a brace of handicaps and should play a leading role once again. Flying Fortress was denied by the smallest of margins here on his latest start and needs to find more off a 4lb higher mark.

Canon Law got off the mark in ready fashion over an extended 1m5f at Sligo and is bound to mount a bold bid in his attempt to follow up, but it may pay to side with AUGUSTA ROCK. Joseph O'Brien's charge showed improved form when sporting first-time blinkers to fill the runner-up spot at Down Royal and looks well placed to go one better. Nathema and Glen Echo are others to watch out for.
