TURN OVER SIVOLA built upon some solid bumper performances with a fluent display of jumping when scoring on his hurdles bow at Plumpton in May. Alan King's charge must shoulder a customary penalty this afternoon but there is likely better to come so he edges the vote. Sleeping City has claims on the pick of his best efforts but needs to bounce back from his recent fall at Wincanton. Swampfire and Workbench cannot be ruled out either.

AWARD WINNER continues to laugh in the face of the handicapper and notched another easy victory at Fontwell last time. This looks a tougher race and improvement will be needed to complete a hat-trick, but he looks well ahead of the assessor and rates the most likely winner. Mumbles Pier looks on a fair mark now back over timber and merits shortlist inclusion along with City Press, who is 5lb higher than when scoring over shorter in May.

CHANGING TIMES has the benefit of a recent blowout at Carlisle under his belt and should be all the wiser for the experience gained on his chasing debut in Cumbria that day. In a race in which few bring solid chase form to the table, he's expected to take all of the beating. Molotof landed Grade 2 novice honours over timber last term and could emerge as the main danger on his chase bow. Ballygarvey and Gloucester are others considered.

An open handicap hurdle and a case can be made for a few of them. Angles Hill is interesting on his first run for his new yard and the two David Pipe representatives, Businessmoney Judi and Vertige Dore, both command respect. Wester Ross and Mighty Monty also make the shortlist along with Quaddick Lake but a chance is taken on JAYANDBEE. He shaped nicely on his third run over hurdles at Wincanton back in April and could prove a little bit better than his opening handicap mark of 105.

DRUMLANG has been raised 6lb for his Huntingdon success but there is no reason why he should not run another big race this afternoon. He edges the verdict over Cruise In Style, who has been raised 9lb for her Wincanton victory. Dukes Art and Quadriller finished behind her on that occasion but it would not be the biggest surprise to see either of them run well today. Prickles, Stentorian and Garth Mountain are others to consider.

The handicapper appears to have handed SHOOTERS WOOD a real opportunity off this 2lb lower mark and the race-fit son of Needle Gun won't have to improve much on his Kempton second nine days ago. With underfoot conditions in his favour for this assignment, it looks significant that Ruby Walsh takes over in the plate, but keep an eye on Royale's Charter who can build on an accomplished Worcester performance latest, and Mibleu, who represents the in-form Colin Tizzard yard.

The bumper finale can go the way of point winner URUBU D'IRLANDE. Paul Nicholls' charge fetched 20,000 euros in June '11 before creating a favourable impression between the flags in May and, expected to have been well readied for his NH debut, he'll take some beating. Oscar Rock represents rookie trainer Harry Fry and he's interesting having also won a point-to-point, while Stratford runner-up Kilmurvy is another for the shortlist.
