This looks like a good opportunity for CHOOSE THE MOMENT to get off the mark. She has finished runner-up on both of her outings to date and she might not have to raise her game too much to score for the in-form Eve Johnson Houghton stable. Picabo caught the eye staying on once the penny had dropped on her racecourse debut and she should know much more about the game now. Sleights Boy has each-way possibilities.

It could pay to take a chance on ROSBAY here. He has not been at the top of his game of late but he has dropped to an attractive handicap mark and can go close if returning to form here. Legal Legacy returned to form with a solid effort over 7f here last week and he shapes as though a mile could suit. Amazing Star, Rascal In The Mix and Come and Go are other likely contenders.

George Adamson has come on in leaps and bounds in recent months and he might not be done with just yet but the one to beat here could be GREEN LIGHTNING. He was far from disgraced in a competitive York handicap last time and he had previously beaten Harris Tweed over this trip at Newmarket. There could still be more to come from him and he gets the nod today. Lady Luachmar and Ethics Girl have each-way claims.

Madame Excelerate comes into this in fine form and she should give another good account but she is 5lb higher today than when winning at Bath last week. Dream On Buddy has solid claims on the form of his Epsom second last month and Emeralds Spirit has to be on the shortlist, but MY ONE WEAKNESS gets the nod. He has yet to hit top gear this season but he has dropped to a very attractive handicap mark as a result and the booking of Paul Hanagan is a big positive.

Rule Maker was a disappointing favourite at Newmarket last time but he had looked progressive prior to that and it would be no surprise to see him go close here. Aquarian Spirit could be in the shake-up and Oriental Scot also commands respect. Mark Johnston saddles both Ginger Jack and HACIENDA and the latter drops into a 0-95 handicap for the first time this year so he could be the one to beat.

Divertimenti won impressively at Nottingham last month but he is 8lb higher this afternoon and that makes life tougher. Select Committee was narrowly denied over 5f at Beverley last week but 6f probably stretches him, while Mullglen is on a decent mark but he is better over the minimum trip. SEA ROVER is not the easiest to win with but he is certainly well treated on his best form and he can go close today if putting his best foot forward.

JOHNNY CASTLE has gone down narrowly on both of his outings to date and his form looks pretty solid so he is likely to take all the beating this afternoon. Midnight Rider has progressed with each outing so far and he looks the most obvious danger to the selection. Ollon struggled at York last time but he had previously shaped nicely on his debut and he is worthy of consideration along with Mark Johnston's newcomer, Muroona.

Mutajare shaped with plenty of promise on his debut at Redcar but he did not really step up on that at Sandown last time. Better can be expected in due course and he should give a good account here. His stablemate, Colebrook, is entitled to improve a good deal for his debut experience but he will certainly need to if he is to strike. CORSICANRUN is closely related to some decent performers and has shown enough at home to merit an entry in next year's Derby so he might be able to make a winning debut.
