Jimmy The Saint has not been out for nearly three years but hails from a stable that can do little wrong at present and it would be foolish to rule him out. Bit Of A Clown, third at Leicester last month on his hurdling debut, must be given a chance but preference is for THE CHAZER, who has taken a while to get to grips with the jumping game, but for whom the penny appears to have dropped now. Placed in his last two starts, he can open his account over hurdles.
This ought to be a fairly straightforward task for The Chazer, with Bit of A Clown and the returning Jimmy The Saint the potential dangers.

Molly Round scored off this mark over hurdles here last month and must be given a chance on her chasing debut while the veteran Kinkeel carries a 7lb penalty for his recent C&D success but won well enough to come into the reckoning here. In a very trappy contest, slight preference is for KARASAKAL, who struggled in his first three starts over fences but got his act together last time when a close second over 2m at Folkestone. He carries another 3lb today but looks open to further improvement.
This trip is on the short side for chase debutante Molly Round, but she escapes a penalty for a much improved display here last time, and is bred to do better over the larger obstacles, so is worth chancing. Karasakal and Rince Donn aren't entirely reliable, but look the dangers.

The veteran Marlborough Sound scored nicely over 2m 4f two starts ago but was well held next time stepped up to this grade and has to carry an extra 8lb today. Nous Voila landed a selling hurdle at Fakenham a year ago but has run just twice since and looks in the grip of the handicapper. YOSSI'S only win over timber was nearly two years ago but he scored off a 6lb higher mark on that occasion. After a winter campaigning on the all-weather, he shouldn't lack fitness and is weight to score here.
Yossi has the ability to win races like this, but his attitude holds him back and he may have to play second fiddle to Marlborough Sound. The selection isn't getting any younger but he was in good form when last seen and has won on both previous runs here.

Woodlands Genpower won this in 2009 but makes little appeal on recent efforts. Crank Hill, successful over timber at Exeter latest, is well weighted on his winning chase form while Atherstone Hill won nicely over C&D and could be up to defying a 7lb penalty. HOBB'S DREAM has been raised a massive 24lb following wins over 3m at Lingfield and 3m 2f at Hereford but came home clear of her field both times. There's clearly a lot more to come and Neil Mulholland's mare is taken to complete the hat-trick today.
This looks a pretty good race of its type, but Glebehall Bay looked set to win well until falling 3 out at Taunton last time and will be tough to beat if in the same form here. Atherstone Hill and Crank Hill are others to consider.

This looks a good opportunity for Irish point-to-point winner OVERNIGHT FAME to open her account under Rules. After two modest efforts over hurdles at Exeter, she turned in a much improved display to finish second over 3m here last month. This drop in trip looks in her favour and she can land the spoils with further improvement expected. Bunglasha Lady also scored between the flags in Ireland and has run well twice over hurdles in the UK but needs to raise her game while Playful Rose must improve a little but can be given a chance.
This could well develop into a match between progressive pair Bunglasha Lady and Overnight Fame, with the latter narrowly preferred.

Fredo has finished second in all four starts over fences but has something to find to break his duck. Cool Mission, three times a winner over timber, is making clear progress over fences and cannot be far off his first win over the bigger obstacles but preference is for Warwick hurdle winner, A FRENCH HORSE. His jumping wasn't always spot on when third over 2m 4f at Ffos Las on his chasing bow but he showed plenty of promise that day and a clear round here can see him take the spoils here.
A French Horse looks sure to build on his promising start in this sphere, especially with his yard going much better now, but a slog through the mud around this stiff circuit may not prove ideal. Fredo on the other hand will relish conditions, and is given the nod to end his frustrating sequence. Mortimers Cross may fare best of the rest.

Vincentian turned in a much improved performance to finish third at Taunton on his second start but was still a fair way back and has more to find to take this. Hollow Blue Sky looks a nice sort on paper from a yard that does well in these contests and he could run well on his racecourse debut while point-to-point scorer Monbeg Dude was a good second at Uttoxeter on his debut under rules and should be thereabouts. However, it's worth taking a chance on HACKPENBAY, who has finished second in both starts so far and can go one better today.
Monbeg Dude sets a good standard on his debut second at Uttoxeter in December and looks the best option. Howard's Legacy could provide the chief threat, ahead of Hackpenbay.
