Nicky Henderson's bumper winner French Crusader got very close to beating the useful Canelo at Doncaster last time and is sure to be on the premises here. However, DOMINATEUR showed plenty of promise on his Southwell debut when tenderly handled by Aidan Coleman and the highly-regarded five-year-old is the type who should do well now jumping obstacles. Daydream Aulmes got off the mark at the third time of asking in a bumper at Doncaster in February and he has to be respected, with Dandolo Du Gite another hurdles recruit to consider.
FRENCH CRUSADER sets a pretty useful standard on his Doncaster second in February and is the one to beat, although Dandolo du Gite, Daydream Aulmes and Dominateur have all shown promise in bumpers and this looks a good race for the time of year.

Linenhall perhaps sets the standard on his Stratford hurdles victory and his course form here in November gives hope that he should do well in his new discipline with staying looking his forte. However, a chance is taken on KRUGERMAC, who has threatened to be useful over hurdles and a step up in distance for this new jumping challenge may bring out the best in the lightly-raced seven-year-old. Dylanseoghan won well over the larger obstacles at Stratford and can't be dismissed, while course and distance winner Cadeau Du Bresil is 5lb lower in the ratings than when winning that day and could give each-way punters a good run for their money.
KRUGERMAC hasn't been able to build any momentum during the past 3 seasons, but ran well when third at Market Rasen last time and seems sure to make a chaser. Linenhall is another who could better his hurdles form over fences, while Dylanseoghan arrives on the back of victory at Stratford under an in-form rider.
