Verdict

Of the runners that have raced before TURN BACK TIME could be the best of them. This Trippi filly showed very nice improvement from her debut and finished a close up second to Pearl Valley over this course and distance. A wide draw will not make it easy for jockey Chase Maujean but TURN BACK THE TIME does look to have ability. KNYSNA ROSE has been disappointing since her debut.

Three-year-olds NAVARRO and PLATINUM LEGEND both showed ability when breaking their maidens and could fight out this finish. NAVARRO was a brave debut winner in May and was not disgraced when fourth to his stable companion BOLD REX subsequently. Verdict

FORTISSIMA is clearly the best filly in the race and her runner-up berth behind Juxtapose is by far the best form in the race. This Fort Wood filly is coming off a 119 day break but trainer Joe Soma does not run horses unless they are fit enough to win. BLUE SAGE and CRANBERRY CRUSH do not have the ability of FORTISSIMA but have fitness on their side and could earn some money.
