It could pay to side with GREYFRIARSCHORISTA on his first outing for Brian Ellison. He was bought for 8000 pounds out of Mark Johnston's stable after his second in claiming company at Musselburgh last time (third and sixth have won since) and his record shows that he clearly likes it here having won and been placed in two visits. Opus Maximum got within a head of winning over C&D latest and he should go close again, while Tobrata has place credentials.

Irish raider Mr Red Clubs could prove difficult to beat if in the same mood as when winning at Dundalk the time before last, but, in receipt of 10lb, RAFAELLA edges the vote. Harry Dunlop's filly appeared to benefit from the application of cheekpieces (worn again this evening) when runner-up behind subsequent winner Masters Club at Lingfield 12 days ago and another big run looks in the offing. Vicgernic has to be given a chance to build on his debut seventh.

SILVER WIND, who has been running consistently well in recent months, was fairly impressive when winning by 2-lengths over C&D last time and, despite a 4lb rise in the handicap, he's still well treated in comparison to his turf mark and could go in again. The in-form Bold Ring looks an obvious danger, while Berbice is another leading player after his gritty track and trip success just short of four weeks ago.

BERLUSCA showed a liking for the polytrack surface when scoring gamely over C&D last month and, just 3lb higher this evening, he will be fancied to follow up. Sunny Side Up has shown enough in previous starts to suggest that he can figure prominently here, while Bitter Lemon was beaten less than 2-lengths when fifth at Redcar latest and a 2lb drop in the handicap gives her a real chance of being placed in this.

CHAPELLERIE appears to have been found a great opportunity to open her account. There are plenty of positives to take from her three starts thus far and the form of her fourth at HQ latest looks particularly strong with the first and second both winning since. Mezzotint defied odds of 100-1 to finish on his racecourse debut at Yarmouth last month and he could go close here if stepping forward from that, while Millibar certainly isn't out of it either.

Grudge's aggressive tactics almost paid off at Kempton recently and he should give it another good go from the front end tonight, but an in-form RED CAPE is preferred. Ruth Carr's gelding seemingly appreciated the drop in trip when winning comfortably over C&D last Friday and a 6lb penalty is unlikely to be enough to stop him if in the same mood. The hat-trick seeking Estonia is worthy of consideration despite a further 6lb rise in the weights.

Ryedane can confirm recent 7f superiority over Darcey dropping in trip but the vote goes to DICKIE LE DAVOIR. He's been struggling on the fibresand at Southwell of late but is a bit better on polytrack and is certainly well handicapped if able to reproduce anything like his best form. Istiqdaam is better than he showed here last month and shouldn't be ruled out, while the consistent Mount Hollow shoulders a 7lb penalty for his recent Southwell success but he's another must for the shortlist.

ICE TROOPER made a winning debut on the all-weather in a Lingfield seller last month and he backed that up with a close second in a handicap at the same track last week. Further improvement can be anticipated on this surface and he's worth another chance off the same mark tonight. Bond Fastrac isn't badly treated on the pick of his old form, while Royal Intruder will need things to fall right from stall 13 but is capable of making an impact on his first outing for Richard Guest.
