PERSONA GRATA struck over the extended mile on her racecourse debut here in October, showing a good attitude to get up late by a neck. Ed Walker's charge is expected to improve now granted this stiffer test and an opening mark of 70 appears workable. Starfield travelled strongly when landing his first race for Michael Appleby at Southwell last time and a 5lb rise is unlikely to stifle his progress. Refreshestheparts is dangerously handicapped on her best form, though the main danger may be Paul Cole's hat-trick seeker, Elysian Prince.

RED PERDITA's limitations have been exposed for all to see but she sets the standard on her last-time-out Kempton second over this distance and should take all of the beating on these terms if running up to her official rating. Kidmeforever (engaged to run here yesterday) and Penelope Pitstop both have plenty to find with the selection based on the form they have shown so far. Beau Sparkle took a forward step at Leicester last time but, like Snappy Mann and Edw Gold, she needs to improve plenty on her recent form to figure.

Bleu Astral took a keen hold and hung left before fading when a disappointing fifth here last time. He's well drawn and makes some appeal on his debut second at Thirsk but, for the time being, SPINAMINNIE looks a safer alternative. She's appeared a shade outpaced over 6f the last twice, and with her stable having recently ended their extensive losing run, she could improve for this additional furlong. Kaufmann should be all the wiser for the experience gained on debut but, like Clever Love, he has a wide draw to overcome. Vivre La Reve should also go well under Luke Morris.

ROWLESTONE LASS scored by six lengths over the extended 2m here in October and built on that effort with a solid performance in third over the same C&D last time. She's up another 2lb and drops back to 1m6f today, however, she went down by only half a length over 1m4f here three runs ago and is therefore expected to remain competitive. Sioux Chieftain has been knocking hard on the door over 1m4f and looks worth a try over this longer distance, while Lineman, third over C&D off 1lb lower latest, is unlikely to be far away either. Sagesse returns from a break and is worth a market check.

Yard Of Ale failed to justify favouritism when second over this trip at Southwell last month and needs to build on that effort and improve on his two previous efforts at this track if he's to finally open his account. Of more interest is the less exposed QUAINTRELLE, who drops back in distance after making no impression inside the final furlong over 1m at Kempton last time. Llandanwg may be perked up by first-time blinkers and looks best of the rest.

RIGHTWAY, a 23,000-euro purchase from John Oxx's yard in October, shaped with promise on his first start for Tony Carroll and was defeated by just a neck over 7f at Kempton last week. He appeared to be in front for too long, but with Luke Morris taking over in the saddle and some solid Irish form over 1m already in the book, it is hoped he can gain compensation now upped in trip. Miniskirt has claims on her debut effort at Salisbury while any money for Flat newcomer Laika, who has been placed in a bumper at Bangor, would also be notable.

HABESHIA has improved for the return to the all-weather of late, building on his 1m victory at Lingfield by defying a 5lb higher mark over the same trip at Kempton last time. He is unpenalised for the latter of those victories, which came in an apprentices race under today's pilot, and looks to have been well placed by Michael Bell to try extend his winning sequence. Lord Of The Storm, fourth over the extended 1m1f here on Saturday, has place claims along with low-drawn pair Percys Princess and Focail Mear.
