Tony Carroll has won the last two renewals of this race and has strong hat-trick claims courtesy of EASYDOESIT, who benefited from the return of cheekpieces when landing a 2m selling handicap at Lingfield in good style. He has a 4lb rise to contend with but this doesn't look any tougher. Smugglers Lane was nearly six lengths back in third that day but is 4lb better off with the winner now and could ask the selection more questions over a more suitable trip here. Medieval Bishop has made the frame off this mark over C&D the last twice and should have his say again.

PADDYS MOTORBIKE landed a gamble over 1m4f here last month, form which has been boosted by the runner-up scoring since. He wasn't stopping at the finish so this extra yardage could well suit and he is fancied to defy a 5lb rise in the handicap. Should the selection not get home, C&D winner Sunblazer could capitalise as he arrives on the back of a 1m4f Kempton success off a 3lb lower mark. Luv U Whatever found 1m2f too sharp latest but landed a valuable Chelmsford handicap over an extended 1m5f previously and is only 2lb higher now.

Appeared showed signs of ability in two starts for John Oxx and is interesting on his first start for Roger Varian, while Force Of Destiny displayed some promise once the penny dropped on debut over this C&D and should have more to offer today. However, they don't set the bar too high and it could pay to side with Richard Hughes-trained newcomer BUNBURY. As well as being a full-brother to Group 2 winner Zacinto, he is related to quite a few other winners and the Dansili colt wouldn't have to be anything special to score on his belated racecourse debut.

Basil Berry ran a big race when going down by just a neck over C&D a fortnight ago and a similar effort puts him in the contention, but MINDUROWNBUSINESS is by far the highest rated here and he is fancied to show why by returning to winning ways. Following a double in valuable 1m handicaps at Lingfield and Chelmsford, Roger Varian's five-year-old failed to land the odds in a tactical affair over 1m2f last time out but he is much better suited by the weights today in what is a lesser conditions event. Lat Hawill can beat Sirius Prospect in the battle for the bronze medal.

BINKY BLUE found one too good when bidding for a hat-trick latest and is 4lb higher now, but the winner has franked the form with an emphatic success since and Mark Loughnane's in-form filly is taken to bounce back with Luke Morris returning to the saddle. Lady McGuffy and Hercullian Prince continue to slide down the ratings and could give the selection most to think about.

SEYCHELLOISE has enjoyed a fine winter on the all-weather, having finished in the first two in all of her last seven starts, registering three wins in that period. Sir Mark Prescott's filly only just failed off her revised mark when unable to dictate last time out and could get an easy lead now back up in trip. Hillbilly Boy looks the one potential threat for early supremacy and has slipped to a workable mark now. If they cut each other's throats up front then Peril, who scored on his sole outing at this venue last summer, could be the one to capitalise on his return to Tapeta.

Half a length separated MORE SPICE and Secret Millionaire when the former scored at Lingfield last month and the latter is 2lb better off this time around. The winner always looked in command, though, and has scope for plenty more improvement after only five starts, especially with the application of a visor appearing to do the trick last time. Quantum Dot has gone up 2lb for a neck success over this C&D 21 days ago but a bold bid for the double could be on the cards.
