Meydan Style has been going well recently and should figure again following his recent Kempton second. However, ODD BALL is just preferred having really found some form in the last month, building on two good 6f efforts here with a good third over 7f at Southwell on Tuesday. He deserves a change of luck and is already a winner at this venue. If back on song, Avoncreek is another more than capable of going well.

Chuckle and Trail Of Tears both tick plenty of boxes on paper and market confidence behind either could be worth noting. Marco Botti, responsible for the former, has saddled a couple of 3-y-o maiden winners here in the last month so clearly has his string in good form at present, while Trail Of Tears boasts a smart pedigree and should be fit enough to do himself justice. However, with the benefit of a run her belt belt, a chance is taken on VENA AMORIS, who was really well backed for her Doncaster debut last autumn when running in the famous blue of Godolphin. Since transferred to Mark Johnston's Middleham base, she can benefit from the change in scenery.

CATHERINES CALL returned from a lengthy absence to run Cyflymder to within a nose at Lingfield last month and with that reappearance effort behind her, she looks the one to beat with the framing of tonight's weights certainly in her favour. Sundae finds himself returning to the track after over two years off but he is to be feared in this grade if retaining any of his old ability, with Tombi and Jonnie Skull both proving frustrating to follow.

CLEAN BOWLED is thriving at present and completed a quickfire hat-trick when breezing to victory at Lingfield just under two weeks ago, brushing aside old rival Crowning Star in effortless style. Already a C&D winner, he should prove awfully hard to beat again and should have too much for recent gutsy Southwell victor Flying Pickets. Siouxies Dream completes the shortlist on the back of a couple of runner-up efforts.

Rosby Waves is sure to prove popular following her stylish debut success here last month. Beautifully bred, she is surely capable of better but this is a tricky looking assignment first time in handicap company against battle-hardened rivals and dual course winner COME ON BLUE CHIP is preferred. Paul D'Arcy's son of Holy Roman Emperor progressed at a rate of knots last autumn and looked to have improved again when giving the in-form Shabora a good race on his return to action at Lingfield. He should be able to go one better tonight, although recent winners Bareback and Presburg are both open to further progress.

FORWARD FELINE made a promising return to action when finishing a good third to Moral Issue here late last month and having been held up off a slow pace on that occasion, she definitely wants marking up for finishing strongly to claim place money. In a poor race, she looks the most solid option, although a return to form could certainly see the likes of Marksbury and Polar Auroras involved.

A poor finale and not one for maximum stakes. However, JUST FIVE comes into this in decent form having followed a hard fought victory here two starts ago with a solid effort at Southwell subsequently. Back on this surface, he earns the vote ahead of Stamp Duty and Swish Dish.
