Amazing Anna has improved with each start thus far and is likely to go close, but narrow preference is for the less exposed FOOTSTEPSONTHEMOON. David Loughnane's charge shaped with lots of promise when runner-up on her debut over 6f here and dropping in trip should suit the speedy daughter of Footstepsinthesand. Princess Of Lir could be worth a second look in the betting market ahead of her introduction.

CANDESCENCE built on her debut success (6f) when a solid third over this trip at Musselburgh and, providing she takes to the all-weather, the daughter of Power can give weight and a beating to these rivals. Followthefootsteps ran much better on her debut than the finishing position may suggest and this extra furlong will likely suit her. She and Karl Burke's Omany Amber make up the shortlist.

Sur Mer has impressively notched a Windsor/C&D double and warrants plenty of respect in her bid to complete the hat-trick, while Show Me The Bubbly has been running well in defeat and can have her say again. However, less exposed than the aforementioned pair, ANNA OF LORRAINE gets the vote to follow up her recent 6f course success. A 4lb rise is fair and dropping in trip is unlikely to pose any problems.

RUNNING CLOUD certainly wasn't stopping when successful over 1m4f here last week and a 5lb penalty might not be enough to anchor him if arriving in the same mood. Hammy End has been knocking on the door, both on the all-weather and turf, and he could be in the shake-up again, while Enmeshing is worth a market check at least on his first outing since winning at Lingfield in March.

BRAZEN BOLT appears to be getting the hang of things now and a repeat of his neck second in a similar handicap at Newcastle last Wednesday could suffice. Al Simmo ran well on her handicap debut over 6f at Salisbury last time (would have finished closer but for a troubled passage) and warrants respect stepping back up in trip, while six-time course scorer Critical Thinking isn't out of it either.

Difficult to be too confident about any of these, but POET'S MAGIC posted a solid third-placed effort at Catterick last time and a similar level of performance should see her go close. Swissal's last couple of efforts over 6f at Chepstow have been pleasing enough, particularly when half a length third two starts ago, and he merits consideration stepping back up in trip. Cool To Be A Cat could improve for having had wind surgery.

MAIDEN CASTLE won in fine style over an extended 1m1f here last time and a 4lb rise for that success looks fair, so he shades the verdict in a wide-open handicap. Medieval continues to knock on the door and he could be in the mix again, while Goddess Of Fire also arrives in excellent form and is one to consider, despite running off a career-high mark.

INTERNATIONAL LAW certainly wasn't winning out of turn over C&D last week and with that confidence booster under his belt, he might be able to follow up under a 5lb penalty. A'shamardi won on his handicap debut at Lingfield four weeks ago and it's interesting that blinkers replace the visor worn that day. He has to be respected despite an 8lb hike, while The Cincinnati Kid and Deft cannot be ruled out either.
