DELORES ROCKET carries a 6lb penalty for her comfortable Carlisle success last week but she is still 7lb well in as her new mark of 74 does not take effect until tomorrow. Her rider's 7lb claims should also help. Camp Floyd showed some promise on the second of his three runs in maidens and he is one to consider on his handicap debut. Marco Botti's handicap debutante, Sand Grouse, is also worthy of consideration along with Zain Spirit.

PRAVDA STREET won a claimer over a mile at Kempton last time and providing the drop to 7f does not catch him out, he should give another good account this evening. Rafinn got off the mark in handicap company over 6f at Kempton last time and he should be on the premises along with Chepstow selling winner Offbeat Safaris. Eastern Hills, Glass Mountain, On The Hoof and Hail Promenader are others with claims in a wide-open contest.

Spicy has been knocking on the door and she will surely get off the mark before too long. Midnight Flower shaped well enough on her debut to suggest that she will be winning race in due course but it might be best to focus on Lilbourne Eliza and NARDIN. Richard Hannon's filly shaped very nicely when runner-up on her debut at Chepstow and with improvement likely, she looks sure to run well. However, preference is for Ed Dunlop's representative as the form of her Kempton second has worked out very nicely.

Fast Finian is on a hat-trick and must be respected but he is now 8lb higher than when recording the first leg of his double. Smalljohn has won six times over this C&D but never off a mark this high. Roy The Boy, Prime Exhibit and Emkanaat all merit respect but RIGHT RESULT gets a tentative verdict. He got the better of Willies Wonder to score over this C&D last time and a 2lb rise might not prevent another bold bid.

Fairest has been handed what looks a workable mark of 62 for her handicap bow but she would have to step up on what she has shown in three maiden starts to date. LOYAL N TRUSTED gets the vote with a recent step up to tonight's trip having brought about an improved performance at Chepstow last time. The son of Motivator appears to save his better efforts for the all-weather surface and his mark of 62 remains feasible. Glenridding and Atlantis Crossing are also worthy of consideration.

Dvinsky's most recent performances have shown no signs that he's ready to throw the towel in at the age of 11 and he's very much respected at the top of the weights. BALTI'S SISTER is preferred, however, and is given another chance off this mark of 62 (due to go up 3lb) following a creditable effort when runner-up over C&D last week. Footstepsofspring and Amethyst Dawn are also noteworthy.

With many of these maidens having failed to show much in the way of encouragement thus far, it is tough to oppose the 78-rated AFRAAH. Roger Varian's daughter of Hard Spun was too keen in the early part when stepped up to 1m2f at Goodwood the last day but she's given another chance coming back in trip, with the first-time head gear expected to help her settle. The returning Honour and King's Guest are others to note representing shrewd connections.

A competitive finale can go the way on LEAN ON PETE. The son of Oasis Dream was outfoxed by Silver Lace when attempting to exploit the same mark over 1m at Kempton last time but that form looks strong enough and Ollie Pears' charge is 3lb well in at present. Others to note include Warden Bond, who escapes a penalty for his C&D win in an apprentice contest eight days ago, and Strike Force who could go well at a big price.
