PRINCESS ROSE has turned in creditable efforts over 7f at Catterick and Ayr but hasn't fully seen out the trip on either occasion. Improvement could be in the pipeline now she's dropping back in distance from a low draw. Fujin landed minor money on bottomless ground at Brighton and should give another solid account under Jason Hart. Recent Brighton third Brean Splash Susie is also worthy of consideration, though she does have a wide draw to overcome.

Millar Rose steps up in trip as she bids to build on her recent 5f third in a course seller. Over this distance, though, preference is for SMART STEPPER, who landed a 6f victory in a Redcar seller in August and bounced back from a poor handicap run at Hamilton when narrowly touched off over an inadequate trip at Nottingham. Little, Aqlette and Tumut are others competitively treated on these terms and all warrant a second look in the betting.

Two Jabs bolted up by five lengths in a 1m4f maiden here three weeks ago and is interesting now granted this stiffer test on his handicap debut. Marginal preference, however, is for penalised C&D winner KELAMITA, who appeared to benefit from the fitting of blinkers last week and could have more to offer in the retained headgear. Track-and-trip winner Sunblazer is respected on his return to this sphere, while Russian Royale is only 4lb higher than for her recent Salisbury success and has no concerns on the stamina front either.

Ice Mayden scored with plenty in hand in a classified event at Beverley and should remain competitive. However, Bryan Smart's filly may find this shorter trip on the sharp side, so preference is instead for NASHMI. George Peckham's charge has been eased 2lb for finishing fourth over track and trip and is expected to build on that effort in a retained visor. Penalised Kempton scorer Succeed And Excel drops back from 1m but has place possibilities.

EL MIRAGE has posted creditable efforts over longer trips at Kempton and at this track the last twice but is expected to improve for the return to 7f, over which he has been successful here on Polytrack in the past. Wotalad has been raised 3lb for a near-miss over 1m at Kempton and would have made stronger appeal from a lower draw, but has place claims along with the consistent Sewn Up, who stayed on well for third over 6f here on Tuesday.

Classic Villager landed minor money over 1m2f at Kempton and should go close if running up to his official rating of 72 over this slightly shorter trip. However, Philip Hide's youngster has arguably had more than enough opportunities to score in maiden company already so it could pay to take him on with the unexposed LIFE LESS ORDINARY, who was well backed prior to his debut over the extended 1m here in October and can improve for the run. Brosnan shaped with promise when fifth in a York maiden on debut and warrants a market check, as does Tom Dascombe's newcomer Cocker.

Lola Montez has been raised 3lb for scoring over track and trip 13 days ago and could go close if her wide draw can be overcome but the safest option appears to be DELIGHTFUL SLEEP, who stayed on well for second off 2lb higher over the extended 1m here and may improve for this additional furlong. Prostate Awareness was headed late on when second over 1m1f at Hamilton and can also figure, with a 3lb rise unlikely to prevent him from building on that run.

NAOISE won twice on Polytrack when trained in Ireland by Jim Bolger and although he's yet to score for his present handler, he showed enough in two spins at Carlisle back in July to suggest this reduced mark of 65 is within his capabilities. He does need to prove his stamina for the distance, however, and if he fails to get home, dropped-in-trip course fourth The Firm could be the one to pick up the pieces. Unexposed Godolphin gelding Blue Army also merits a market check.
