Havin A Flyer finally - and deservedly - got off the mark at Southwell last week, which will have boosted her confidence. She had a length and a quarter to spare over MY MATE MACKLEY, but the reopposing runner-up has more scope for improvement and can capitalise on a 6lb turnaround. A Lott Of Kane and Sands of Seve both struck here in March and will appreciate the return to Dunstall Park.

BETWEEN ME AND U justified market support when regaining the winning thread at Kempton and although he had to work hard to do so, he eventually got on top and this slight step up in trip can help him to defy a 3lb rise. The Dark Baron will also appreciate the return to further and heads the list of dangers. Tilani needs to prove he handles an artificial surface, while Pearly Squirrel isn't a guaranteed stayer, whereas the returning King Chaos needs further.

Chimes Of Thunder has experience on her side and sets the standard. A couple of interesting newcomers are in opposition, though, not least PYRAMID, who is a full-brother to two first-time-out winners and is taken to follow suit. Bintward also makes a belated start to her career, but cost 780,000 euros as a yearling so connections will be wanting to get a win next to her name sooner rather than later.

Marco Botti saddles two and Angel Sense has shown more than enough to suggest she'll play a leading role, but her stable companion SUPREME STAR looks the one to beat. He showed a glimmer of promise on debut at Nottingham before bumping into the potentially useful and Gimcrack-entered Tawakal over the same track and trip. The Supremacy colt still looked green but, from a handy draw, he can take the necessary step forward. Ouragan posted a creditable second at Newbury and is considered along with Location Location, who could improve for the fitting of an eye-shield.

JUNGLE DRUMS has returned at an SP of 20/1 or higher in three of his five career wins, which was the case when he struck over C&D earlier this month. Jamie Osborne's gelding is unlikely to go under the radar dropped into a claimer and although Hunky Dory is favoured on these terms, he could still prove difficult to stop. Manly Fireball heads the remainder.

Not surprisingly, the Sir Mark Prescott-trained SI WHITE left his first three efforts a long way behind when making a successful handicap debut at Southwell. A seven-day turnaround means that, under his penalty, he can compete from slightly below his new mark and he is probably nowhere near the ceiling of his ability yet. Crown Inn To Win and Forever Perfect exchanged verdicts here back in April and both are capable of getting involved. Goldfinder so nearly sprung a shock over C&D and that form has been boosted.

AFRICAN SPIRIT was just ahead of a subsequent winner when making the frame at Windsor. That represented a major step forward on his previous efforts since joining Ian Williams and, if anything, he is happier on the all-weather. He is preferred to Emery Down, who has been getting better with racing and served notice her turn could be imminent when runner-up at Ayr. Cooramook is a 20-race maiden, but has been knocking on the door over C&D.

Musical Soldier was rewarded for some fine efforts in defeat when scuppering OH SO PERFECT's hat-trick plans over C&D last week, but the runner-up is 6lb better off for less than a length so is expected to take her revenge. On Key has maintained an excellent level of consistency, although he has managed to get his head in front just once in 25 attempts - when beating Midnight's Dream here - so more minor money may beckon.
