Verdict

Warrior Lion got up for second in the final strides when last seen on the level at Wolverhampton in January and could go well, but it's hard to ignore the claims of SAACHI. Ian Williams' five-year-old went in by two lengths at the same venue earlier in the month and if in similar form, he may prove a tough nut to crack. Of the remainder, Gearing's Point makes the most appeal.

Expert View Verdict

SAACHI is unreliable but he is still fancied to follow up on his latest victory in a similar event. He beat an in form rival last time and he remains unexposed over trips this far. Hurdles winner Dotties Star has been in good form in that sphere recently and could provide the main challenge if getting a stiff test on his Flat return. Longstanding maiden Ignition has been in decent form of late and can also get involved if settling better down in trip.
