Verdict

HORUS was less than a length behind the winner when filling fourth place over C&D when last seen in January and he makes plenty of appeal off a 1lb lower mark in a first-time visor. Rye's third at this venue three weeks ago suggests that she could be the main threat, although Battle Point and He's An Angel should not be discounted.

Expert View Verdict

Tony Carroll is well represented here with Rye and JUST JUMP, and it's the latter who appeals more of the pair fitted with a first-time hood. Having made a promising debut for the stable at Lingfield, he was far too keen at Wolverhampton next time and the added headgear could make all the difference. Rye is still a maiden but a capable one and she's respected on her last-time-out C&D effort. Valsharah remains a maiden but a tongue-tie is now added and he could still come good for these connections having formerly been with Charlie Hills.
