Verdict

Romeo Brown continued his resurgence when completing a double at Doncaster in December and another bold bid would come as no surprise. A 4lb higher mark for the veteran looks fair and he isn't taken lightly, but DEARKEITHANDKATY is open to more improvement. The Jonjo & A J O'Neill-trained gelding was a cosy winner over C&D at the start of February and a subsequent second over 2m4f at Sedgefield looked to be on the sharp side. Snowrocco is another who should relish a return to this trip and she shouldn't be underestimated.

Expert View Verdict

Two strong contenders here in the shape of DEARKEITHANDKATY and Snowrocco, both C&D winners two starts back who underperformed dropped in trip last time. There's not much between the pair but we'll side with the O'Neill runner who is just a 5yo and looks open to significant progress still over this sort of trip. Snowrocco is a rock-solid alternative, especially as the ground has come in his favour, and he's the standout danger, although Scairp Dubh isn't to be underestimated in the first-time cheekpieces having shown improved form of late himself.
