Verdict
SAILTHISSHIPALONE is a previous course winner who has held his form well this season. Having won at Ayr prior to a respectable fifth in a competitive heat at York most recently, the reliable five-year-old ought to be bang there at the business end. Tim Easterby has a good record in this race and his Per Contra is suggested as another strong contender, while the betting market should be revealing when it comes to Obito and Walsingham.

GREEN AREA is probably a bit flattered by her novice win but it has been boosted at Listed level and she was far from disgraced on her recent handicap debut. Dropping back to 10f she is expected to continue her progress at the expense of the similarly unexposed Bnaider. That rival will appreciate the soft ground and is likely to come on for his latest outing. Obito has a career high mark to deal with but he's been in good form of late and may complete the places.
