Verdict
SPRING CHORUS won at Beverley in May and finished a resolute second back at the same venue last time. The daughter of New Approach should be refreshed by a short break and Michael Herrington's inmate looks to have a fighting chance off her current mark. Phaedra could land a blow back on her favoured ground, while Shielas Well is worth noting having won over 1m2f here in June.
Expert View Verdict
SPRING CHORUS has been well found in the market of late and, with her 5l Beverley win in May still fresh in the memory, she’s a clear threat if bouncing back to that level after a couple of places. Shielas Well has been holding her form well and, if seeing out this new trip, looks the value play on the balance of her efforts. Phaedra has progressed nicely this season with wide-margin wins at Chepstow and Windsor, and a short break could help her recapture that sparkle, so she’s feared most.
