Verdict
TOKYO TREASURE showed the benefit of his seasonal debut at Limerick when he was a close-up second at Gowran Park 11 days ago. That was a highly encouraging handicap bow and it is no surprise to see the son of Profitable turned out quickly. A 3lb rise looks manageable and the slightly longer trip can play to his strengths. The consistent Earls, Cool Azul and Contrary To Law are others with solid chances, while Dolly Hello is a handicap debutant to keep an eye on.
Expert View Verdict
CONTRARY TO LAW has been thriving since stepping back up in trip to 7f, winning at Fairyhouse before a close fourth at Gowran Park from the same mark he races off here. He can go well again and even return to winning ways in his current mood. Tokyo Treasure proved 7f was his trip when he was only beaten a neck at Gowran Park last time and remains on a competitive mark from just 3lb higher as he goes after his first win, while Cool Azul improved to win at Navan and is worth a chance over this longer trip, although he needs to prove his stamina having never raced beyond 6f.
