GULCH FEVER was below par when finishing seventh here last month and, with much less on his plate tonight, he receives the tentative vote to regain the winning thread. Marlinspike was narrowly touched off here last time out and could pose the main danger, while Full Of Rage is another that warrants respect.

SOUTHERN PRINCE only found one too good around here last time and a repeat of that effort tonight could be enough to see him regain the winning thread. Mr. Bourbon Street comes here in search of a four-timer and is expected to prove a big danger with Alright Now and Introspect others of interest.

Despite failing to cut no ice in Grade 1 company last time, GLOBALIZATION has strong claims dropped to this level and is expected to prove too good for tonight's rivals. Loaves and Dishes comes here on a hat trick and is respected with recent maiden winner Mint Lane making up the shortlist.

Nothing to get overly excited about here with the tentative vote going to SARATOGA CHANCE who has filled the runners-up spot on each of her last two starts and is given the nod to go one better and gain a deserved first career success tonight. There should more to come from the twice-raced Lavita E Fortuna with Sapphire Ridge another worthy of a mention.

This represents a marked ease in grade for WILD VICAR who was last seen finishing second in stronger company here last month. He should be able to take advantage tonight and is taken to get the better of Archie Boy and Running Dog.

NORTHBOUND EXPRESS hasn't been seen on the track since scoring gamely at Calder in November and, providing that she arrives fully wound up for her return to action, she could prove a cut above these rivals. Too Tired Tonight rarely runs a bad race and rates the biggest threat, while Cherokee Probe is another in with a shout.

TY'S RIDGE has been in cracking form of late and, after scoring in gritty fashion here last time out, he is well fancied to land the hat trick tonight. Bayou Timber won cosily here last time out and is unlikely to go down without a fight, while Buddha Calling is another that cannot be easily dismissed.

WHISTLIN' lost little in defeat when finishing second around this track and trip last month and receives the confident nod to go one better tonight. Gold And Roses was behind the selection that day and may have to settle for a minor role again, with Richard Dutrow-trained Stormin Normandy also holding place claims.

DOUBLE COLICO looked slightly outclassed in a $50k race here last month, but he has much less on his plate tonight and could prove far too strong for these rivals. Max's Bid was narrowly touched off at Laurel last time out and is likely to have his say in the outcome, while Jamacian Kev is another worthy of consideration.
