This race could easily be renamed as the walking wounded insofar and many of the runners seem to have had some issue or another in their careers to date. One such horse is (1) DALAHAST who is now on a special five timer having come back from a mammoth absence to make it four on the bounce at this venue in May. He should be spot on for this. (4) CHINCO STAR and (5) SAINT PALOIS can fight for the forecast. (2) TIESTO D'AUTHIE has a little shot also.

A Grade Three that was held here last month should hold the key to this similar event today. (1) WANT OF A NAIL was nearly a length behind (2) KALMIA that time but is taken to reverse that form now and belatedly break her maiden status at the sixth time of asking. An excellent Listed hurdle here and it sees the return of (6) CARRIACOU who put up a magical performance when winning the Grand Steeple-chase de Paris here last time when getting an inspired rode from Davy Russell. A very interesting finale here and (1) EDENHAM seems to very much on the upgrade. He won very well here last time in a hot contest and there seems to be a lot more to come following that impressive effort. He will be even better over further. (12) FANTASTIC ROCK and (11) FUEGO DE SOMOZA look to have chances. (7) FAIRLIE will have a shot too along with (3) CAFE ROYAL.
