Pat Kelly has proved himself to be a fine handler over the last few seasons and his bumper winner Licklighter went close here in a similar contest over course and distance last time. However, preference is for HURRICANE VOLTA, who showed plenty of improvement in first-time cheekpieces at Tramore last month and with Jack Kennedy aboard can build on that narrow second this time around. The green and gold pair of Punches Cross and Cheap And Cheerful are others to note and have to be respected representing a top stable.

EOLINE JOLIE has been well held in both Grade Two and Listed company the last twice, but with sights lowered now the highly regarded four-year-old, who was a winner over hurdles in France, can strike again for her top handler Willie Mullins. Conron made a flying start to life in Jessie Harrington's yard when scoring at her local track Punchestown on his hurdles bow and he must be considered here, while Percy finds himself in calmer waters this time around and cheekpieces may also help the Downpatrick winner.

DAWN SHADOW excelled in a Punchestown Festival Listed contest last time and she looks the one to beat here, even with the burden of top weight to shoulder this time around. She can confirm form with Awayinthewest and Like An Open Book who were third and sixth respectively that day, with the main opposition set to be provided by Willie Mullins' consistent five-year-old Lareena, who has run well in handicap company the last twice.

THE LAST INDIAN has a 6lb penalty to carry for her five-length Tipperary romp last week, and that may not be enough to stop the five-year-old who has made a flying start to life over timber. Officers Mess has to be respected but a 6lb rise for his Wexford win may be stretching his capabilities, while Guido Reni is an in-form rival who may end up being the main challenger following his Tipperary success last week.

TORCELLO has shown solid enough form in three outings over hurdles to suggest an opening mark of 107 could prove rather lenient. The son of Born To Sea was a promising individual on the Flat for Andrew Balding having contested some top three-year-old handicaps last season and a sounder surface will undoubtedly bring about improvement. Loupgarou was a winner on his latest start and is respected, along with Eiri Na Casca and Big Ben.

DAMUT appeared to relish a change of tactics when making all to get the better of Rashaan at Limerick just over a week ago and a repeat of those here over a shorter trip can see him to good effect once again. Crocodile Dundee merits respect due to his consistency and may have further improvement to come, while the veteran Usa ran well last time at Punchestown and should find this an easier task.

MELIOR doesn't look likely to fill the shoes of her illustrious half-brother Altior, but there is scope for improvement as she makes her debut for the Gordon Elliott team with a sounder surface a potential angle for improvement. Robin De Carlow and Ifyoucatchmenow both represent Willie Mullins with the former coming from a very solid National Hunt family, while The Caddy Rose looks best of the remainder.
