THREE C'S has been presented with a golden opportunity against these rivals and the advice is to look no further than David Dennis' charge. The most experienced in the field boasting a mark of 78, the son of Kodiac has shaped with plenty of promise in three maidens thus far and confirmed that when running a close fourth in a decent nursery at Carlisle last month. Hidden Stash and Ginger Truffle are expected to put up most resistance.

CLIFF FACE is some 4lb well in at the weights shouldering a 6lb penalty for her Lingfield triumph six days ago. A typical Sir Mark Prescott improver, she hasn't looked back since taking to the handicap ranks and can go in again while she's a step ahead of the assessor. Smoky Hill won't go down without a fight and is holding his form well, while C&D winner Hermosa Vaquera is another to take seriously.

GO ON GAL wouldn't be winning out of turn judged on recent form and it is her latest line at Yarmouth that is most interesting. The daughter of Approve ran a close second off 1lb lower that day and the winner has since finished a good second at Bath, while the horse that finished last has since won at Salisbury. She is well worth another look, but keep an eye on Masterson and Lilly Bonbon.

MELABI attracted support when third over this trip against his own age group at Sandown last time and is expected to improve on that placing now taking on older horses. It is possible first-time blinkers could spark some improvement from King of Dreams, who disappointed on his handicap bow at Windsor but remains open to improvement over middle distances. The pick of the remainder may be recent Bath second Frozen Force.

Pour La Victoire claimed this contest last year and was only beaten a length and a quarter when fourth here on Wednesday, but is now 6lb higher than 12 months ago and isn't always the quickest out of the stalls. Tony Carroll has three in the race and perhaps TIME MEDICEAN (fourth here yesterday) is a stronger chance for the Worcestershire-based handler. The veteran has shaped well in recent weeks and it would be no surprise if he ended a winless run that stretches back to 2014. Vincentti ran well earlier this when well backed at Salisbury, while Under Siege is also entitled to consideration.

FRANK BRIDGE has to shoulder a 6lb penalty for his impressive win at Epsom last week but that still leaves the son of Avonbridge 4lb well in today. There was no fluke to that win as it was his third in four starts, a record that cannot be matched in this race. Marcle looks to be the most likely to follow the selection home, while Port Lairge can complete the placings.

QUANTUM DOT won well at Chepstow two starts ago and the son of Exceed And Excel was not disgraced when third under a penalty a few days later. Picansort has been running consistently well of late and another solid performance can be expected from this admirable veteran. Assertive Agent was disappointing when last seen but he may be better judged on his win over 6f here the time before.
