ELUSIVE IN PARIS was well beaten in a Galway handicap when the occasion seemed to get to him. Back at a quieter event, the son of Elusive City can get back on track as he boasts solid recent form and is versatile regarding distances. The Ice Meister looks a threat on his recent form and handles any ground, while My Painter has first time blinkers which could eke out further improvement from the daughter of Jeremy.

LYIN EYES disappointed in a Listed event over C&D last month but looks an interesting contender making her nursery debut off what appears a lenient mark of 75. The daughter of Equiano has mixed it with some decent types, including Medicine Jack and King Electric earlier in the season and wasn't disgraced on either start behind them at Navan. Miss Cogent is another who looks dangerous now in this company, while Texas Dancer has shown signs of ability in three starts and warrants respect.

Master Speaker rarely runs a bad race and it will be hard to keep the six-year-old out of the frame once again today. That said, he could prove to be vulnerable to something lower in the ratings such as GO KART. The son of Intense Focus has just under a length to find with Shanghai Beauty, who beat him at Bellewstown in June, but he is slightly better off at the weights today. It also worth noting that the selection is tried in a first-time tongue-tie. Others worthy of consideration are Lady Mega and Split The Atom.

CAPRI looked to be an exciting prospect when successful over an extended mile at Galway last week. He showed plenty of speed that day and the drop in trip is not a concern for this son of Galileo. Boyfriend Brian is unbeaten after two starts and he was victorious in a decent race at Killarney last month. All of the rest make some sort of appeal but Elusive Beauty looks to be the pick of them based upon her third in a Group 3 at the Curragh last time out.

DECISIVE INTENT shaped promisingly at Gowran Park a fortnight ago and it looked as though making the pace suited the daughter of Lawman. A drop back to 7f should be no inconvenience and John Oxx's charge looks set to launch a bold bid to get off the mark. Blue Bahia looks sure to find a race at this level before moving to handicap company, while Sweet Sounds is an interesting debutant for Ger Lyons and Qatar Racing, with his sire responsible for a Group 3 winner in Ireland earlier this year.

BERT LEAF was an eye-catcher at Sligo in June when challenging a well-handicapped leader and looked good for most of the 1m2f trip. She struggled to see it out, and this modest company should be within her grasp now tackling 7f. An unchanged mark of 45 leaves her holding decent enough claims, with Fairy Flute expected to prove the main danger after a return to form at Gowran Park last time out when third in a similar contest. Artiste Celebre deserves respect with first-time blinkers, while Like A Prayer also merits consideration under Chris Hayes for the first time.

Punches Pious and Hard Times both arrive on the back of game C&D successes and should be prominent, but VALENTANA is preferred. The Haatef filly is a lightly-raced sort who revealed much-improved form when third to Three Bells at Down Royal last month, coming home strongly from off the pace. Hopefully, Billy Lee can obtain a better early position this time round and strike earlier in a race that looks to have a considerable amount of dead wood. Lily's Prince's consistency should see him in the mix despite top weight and Takeachanceonme has place claims if forgiven a below par last run.

Andrew Slattery has his string in fine heart at present and Sharjah should deliver a competitive account for the yard on the back of two wins at Hamilton and Bath with a decent Leopardstown effort sandwiched in between. Another prominent performance is anticipated but ZEFTAN was devastatingly impressive when landing the Boodles Ladies Derby Handicap at the Curragh last time with a nine-length romp that makes him hard to oppose off a 6lb higher mark. Caridadi and Elm Grove have place claims while useful handicap hurdler Head Turner may have more to offer on the level for the Fahy operation.
