(8) FEE HISTORIQUE improved from her debut to finish a close second behind Commander in a Class 2 race at Maisons-Laffitte last time out. She gets the vote here ahead of (1) SALAR ISLAND who was an winner of a claimer over this trip here on his debut this month. (6) AGILMENTE and (3) STELVIO can fill the minor placings.

(1) SHANNKIYR is the third foal to run out of a dam that was a Group Two winner. He has an entry in the Grand Prix de Paris and can make a winning debut here today. The Andre Fabre trained pair (8) VERCELLI and (7) GLEEFULLY are both well bred and must be respected. (9) NO TINC POR is another to consider.

(18) RED WHISPER was a good third behind (5) MENUETTO in a Class 2 handicap at Strasbourg last time out. She is much better off at the weights today and gets a tentative vote to reverse those placings today. (14) MORTREE finished sixth in that race and remains competitive of her current mark and cannot be discounted. (2) KARLSTAD has been very consistent in handicaps over the past year and is another one that must be considered. The other joint top weight (1) PALMERINO can also have a say.

This maiden for three year old's males looks pretty good for (5) MASETTO who has improved with each of his three runs and was a solid runner up at Fontainebleau last time. The son of Mayson will love any easing of the ground here. (10) LOUVE DREAM looks next best with lesser hopes for (1) YSSINGEAUX and (11) STRATERIQUE as well.

5

15:25 Compiegne (France) (Class 1) (4YO plus)

This Listed race is all about one animal and that is the very exciting (8) MUSIS AMICA. She has been missing since just getting beaten in the Prix de Diane this time last year and if anywhere near peak fitness will be taking this. The better the ground the more (5) ROLANDO will like it. (1) NICE TO SEE YOU and (3) ALL FOR ARTHUR can get some black type.

This three year old fillies maiden looks between the two ones with the best form. (2) ALKAWTHAR and (3) ENTAUMRY are the two and preference is for the former who has placed in all her four runs and has been second twice. She will not get many better opportunities than this event. The newcomer (11) C'EST UN REVE is interesting. (6) MAGIC IMAGE has a lesser chance.

7

Not the most appealing of handicaps from a betting point of view and there are plenty of runners also. (4) ZORPEN has a good a chance as any of them judging on a better last time out effort when third at Fougeres and should be able to build on that. (6) GOLEGA has form to be competitive as do (7) ESCAPADE NOCTURNE and (5) GERPONVILLE while (2) PEACEFUL CITY should have claims also.

8

17:10 Compiegne (France) (4YO plus)

Just the small matter of eighteen runners to sift through here for this finale. (7) POUR LIBRANNO looks sure to go well especially as the four year old filly looks so unexposed and was a good third at Chantilly last time. Dangers abound everywhere and are headed up by the likes of (2) SIKANDARI and (5) SPIRIT'S REVENCH. Others to note are (3) GALIKOR and indeed (4) LODI.
