Akatara shaped nicely on her hurdles debut last month and, with improvement likely, she can make her presence felt while Sounds Of Thunder can also get involved. Down Royal fifth King's Parade is not ruled out.

NEWMILL is not the force of old but he was top class when in his heyday and might still have enough in the locker to put these rivals to the sword. Fosters Cross has been contesting competitive handicaps of late and, with drying conditions in his favour, he can be expected to give a good account of himself along with Cross Appeal who can also get involved if at his best. Ludlow runner-up Wikaala also makes the shortlist.
Only the top four have any realistic chance here and Fosters Cross looks the most solid option, so gets the nod ahead of likely front runner Newmill. Cross Appeal should have a fitness edge over Wikaala so may be good enough to take third.

Spring Wine was disappointing at Clonmel last time but he can take a hand in the finish if putting his best foot forward. Fascinating Paddy is interesting on his handicap debut and the same can be said for Lannigans Tower.
Breeze With Ease has a good record around here, comes into this in good heart, and really should take all the beating in a weak handicap. Spring Wine and Fitzgutentyte look the most solid alternatives.

Knocklayde Euro has been running well of late and can go well today despite top weight while L'Acajou has dropped to an attractive mark and is respected even though his recent form is uninspiring.
Knocklayde Euro has been holding his form well of late and a reproduction of his second at Gowran would be enough to see him win this. Hoochie Mama is interesting with blinkers fitted for the first time over fences, and The Corby Glenn is respected from a slipping mark.

NORWICH FLYER has been in terrific form between the flags and Gordon Elliott's representative is fancied to transfer that good form to regulation fences this afternoon with the assistance of Nina Carberry. He can get the better of Definite Appeal who comes into this on the back of a solid second in the point-to-point sphere. Time To Present can also make her presence felt while Mister Philson would have each-way claims with a clear round.
A very weak race even by hunter standards and a chance is taken on recent point winner Norwich Flyer, who isn't easy to assess but represents a top yard. The Snuffler's fitness has to be taken on trust but he could give the selection most to do, while a reproduction of Definite Appeal's Limerick fifth may well be good enough for a place.

ERINS STAGE won between the flags last month and it would be no surprise to see her give a good account on her debut under NH rules this afternoon in a very winnable looking bumper. Willie Mullins has a superb strike rate in these events so Bless N'Ject is sure to prove popular first time out while Fairyhouse fifth Wither Hills could not be confidently ruled out along with Oh So Gogo.
