These eight runners have won eleven races at Dundalk between them. Pulse Of Shanghai has been the most prolific at the all-weather venue, winning four times from seven starts. He has however been disappointing since his latest win in March and will need to bounce back to form if he is to feature here. HARRY'S BAR is the highest rated runner in the line-up and he might be able to outclass his rivals. The Adrian McGuinness trained six-year-old is a dual course winner and finished a good second on his most recent start at the Co Louth circuit. The Highway Rat is rated just two pounds lower than the selection and the Andy Oliver trained three-year-old is given second preference. He has a record of three wins from five starts at Dundalk and while he was disappointing on his most recent start, his rider later reported that his mount 'ran too keen early on.' Leodis Dream is a six-time winner in the UK and he warrants respect, while so too does the Ger Lyons trained Sister Rosetta.

Ger Lyons and Colin Keane have combined to win this Listed contest for the last two years in-a-row, and they might complete the hat-trick now with GEOCENTRIC. The Kodiac filly won her maiden at Navan in July and then finished a fine second in the Group 3 Round Tower Stakes at the Curragh. She was third in a Listed contest on her most recent start at Ayr, and back on home ground now she looks the one to beat. Lyons also saddles Jarvis and while he is without a win in eight starts, he has each-way claims. The Willie McCreery trained Loveday is given second preference. She has yet to finish outside the first three in six starts to date and went down by just half-a-length in the Listed Curragh Stakes on her most recent outing. Ladies Church (first time hood) was just three-parts of a length behind the selection at the Curragh last month and she is sure to have plenty of supporters. Jessica Harrington is represented by Sablonne and Exquisite Acclaim, with both successful last time out. UK raider Sassy Rascal was also a winner on her most recent start, but on a mark of just 79 she will need to produce a career best performance if she is to feature here.

APPLE OF HIS EYE might be able to take this weak contest. The Dick Brabazon trained filly has some decent form to her name, finishing seventh in a twenty-two-runner contest at the Curragh on her most recent start. Alessandro Algardi and Princess Plumeria were fourth and fifth in that Curragh heat and they have given the form a boost by winning since. Spilt Passion is without a win in eleven starts but she has finished in the first three six times. She was beaten by just a head over the course and distance last December and finished a respectable fifth in a competitive handicap at the venue last Friday. New Moon Rising was disappointing at Gowran on her most recent effort, but she should be able to make her presence felt in a contest of this quality. Knight Of Malta has filled the runner-up spot on his last two outings and while he is sure to have supporters, he is without a win in twenty-two starts. Alqabeela was second on debut at Leopardstown last year and she warrants respect, while Captain Attridge is another leading contender.

COMMON PRACTICE was an eye-catcher at Listowel last week and he should give a good account of himself in this competitive heat. The Gleneagles colt raced towards rear at the Co Kerry venue, making good late headway to finish a never nearer fourth. He makes his debut in handicap company now and it'll be disappointing if he is not involved towards the business end. Mr Globalist ran a fine race to finish fifth in a maiden at the Curragh last Saturday and that contest is likely to produce plenty of future winners. The chestnut colt is given second preference here, as he also makes his debut in handicap company. Nero Tulip is the sole winner in the line-up, after he dead-heated with Leinster House at Naas on his most recent start. The Ger Lyons trained colt is sure to have plenty of supporters in this seven-furlong contest and it'll come as little surprise if he manages to follow-up. Dickochea was very disappointing at the Curragh on Sunday and he is now tried in a first time visor. Papa K (first time blinkers) is another that warrants respect, while Shinkansen is also capable of making his presence felt.

A strong renewal of this Listed contest. SNAFFLES had no luck in running on debut at Leopardstown but made no mistake on his second start at Down Royal, coming home an impressive five length winner. "I know Joseph (O'Brien) has always thought the world of him. He's such a laid-back, relaxed horse and you don't know what is in the tank," Brendan Powell, assistant trainer, said in the aftermath of that Down Royal success. Ger Lyons is represented by Markaz Paname and Cornman. The former is given second preference with Colin Keane opting to partner this bay colt. Well-backed for his debut at Cork, he comfortably dismissed his eleven rivals and it'll come as no surprise if he manages to follow-up now. Absolute Ruler is another leading contender for Donnacha O'Brien. Out of Group 1 winner Together Forever, the son of War Front has a course win to his name and was a close-up third in the Group 2 KPMG Champions Juvenile Stakes on his most recent outing. Leinster House, who dead-heated on debut at Naas, is likely to have plenty of supporters, while Dirtyoldtown, King X J and Corviglia are others that warrant respect.

CAPLA KNIGHT might be able to take this open contest for the recent All-Ireland winning Tyrone forward Conor McKenna and his father Patrick. The three-year-old gelding was bought by connections for just €2,000 and while he has been disappointing this year, he was successful at Chelmsford in October of 2020. The son of Sir Prancealot is tried in a hood for the first time now and with Joey Sheridan taking three pounds off, he should give a good account of himself. Burning Lake has finished third on his last two visits to Dundalk and the Joseph Murray trained five-year-old is given second preference. The son of Le Havre has a course and distance win to his name and will be helped by the seven-pound claim of rider Wesley Joyce. Boasty has some solid recent form to his name and has definite claims, while others to consider here are Jack Berry House, Silverkode, Tynamite and Macaban City.

HIGHTOWN HEIGHTS gets the nod over Brosna Empress. Previously trained in the UK by Karl Burke, the selection failed to make an impact on her first two starts for Ger Lyons. She put in a much-improved performance to finish second over the course and distance on her most recent outing, and there should be more to come from the daughter of Teofilo. Brosna Empress is a three-time runner-up at Dundalk, going down by a length-and-three-parts on her most recent visit to the venue. She will be ridden by Scott McCullagh now and he claims a valuable five pounds. Ross Coakley returns to these shores to partner Munfallet for his father Denis. The ten-year-old gelding is a dual course and distance winner and has definite claims in a contest of this quality. Pride Of Pimlico is another dual course and distance winner in the line-up and he can't be discounted, while Clatter Bang, Bright Glory and Colonel Slade are others for the shortlist.

SILAIYLI might be able to bounce back to form in this good quality contest. The Olympic Glory colt is a half-brother to Sonaiyla and Sindhia, both of whom were successful in valuable races at the Curragh over the summer. The selection himself was an easy winner at Down Royal in June and finished a respectable tenth of twenty-three in the Petingo Handicap at Leopardstown on Champions Weekend. Rebellito finished behind him there and he since gave the form a boost by winning the feature at Listowel last Thursday. Silaiyli is now tried in blinkers for the first time and making his debut at Dundalk, a bold bid looks likely. The Noel Meade trained Ben Siegel is given second preference after his impressive seven-length success at Down Royal. Dollar Value filled the runner-up spot there and he gave the form a significant boost by winning easily on his next start at Navan. Moon Daisy was second at the Curragh on Sunday and he is sure to have plenty of supporters, while others for the shortlist are Gowran winner Bonte Moi, the 85 rated Bright Idea and the Andrew Oliver pair of Blue Shadow and Sense Of Worth.
