AUSSIE GIRL showed little on debut but her second start was much more encouraging as she finished third over 6f at this venue. The runner-up has since won a maiden by five lengths and Fozzy Stack's filly has good prospects here if continuing to go the right way. Although a bit free last time, she kept going reasonably well and on pedigree should appreciate the extra furlong. Tabuk is by a sire whose progeny have a fine AW record and he showed promise when fifth in a C&D maiden on debut a fortnight ago. Joseph O'Brien's newcomer Den Of Iniquity cost 40,000 guineas as a yearling and is a half-sister to an AW winner over a mile. Shangrilama and the blinkered La Tulipe Noire are closely matched on Down Royal running in September but the former is better-drawn and was only beaten half a length in a Thurles maiden two runs ago.

Being drawn out wide is of little consequence to C&D specialist LINUS LARRABEE as he invariably misses the break and is patiently handled. Sorcha Woods has delivered him to perfection on his last two starts which he has won by narrow margins. The Slade Power gelding had Delta Romeo back in sixth here last week and can complete a hat-trick under similar tactics. Airgead has two wins at Leopardstown on his CV and was having only his third start on polytrack when placed behind two solid yardsticks over a mile last time. He may well be better suited by this trip and his trainer has been amongst the winners lately. Chica Power is a dual C&D winner and made all on her penultimate start. She's drawn on the inner and can give it a good go from the front again.

LECLERC has shown improved form since switching to polytrack and, although this drop in trip is a slight concern, can get off the mark from a good draw. Ado McGuinness' gelding was third over a mile here last month before being touched off by a neck over that distance on his latest outing. The three-year-old may ideally want further than this 7f but might be capable of victory nonetheless. Maestro Stick is up 6lb for beating Jaafel over C&D at the beginning of the month and that horse subsequently lowered the colours of Leclerc, so the Frankel gelding is a leading player as he bids for his third win at this venue. Lion Ring was second in a big-field handicap at the Curragh during the summer and went agonisingly close to a first victory when beaten a short head here last time. He's only 2lb higher and is another who has been handed a decent draw.

NOT TOO REAL BAD ran two good races over C&D earlier in the month and can get off the mark on her third visit to Dundalk. Having finished fourth in a maiden, she was then touched off on nursery debut and the horse in fifth won a nursery here last week. Tom Mullins' filly clearly enjoys the surface and can defy a 6lb hike. Bonny Power was second to a useful type in a Down Royal maiden and has had excuses for two unplaced runs in nurseries. Soft ground may not have suited on the first occasion and she was wiped out at the start over 5f at this track last time. Coolcalmncollected showed little after also being hampered at the start on nursery debut at Galway but had shown promise when fifth in a Navan maiden and Colin Keane has a good record for the yard. Swinging Sixties is out of a three-time AW winner and is an interesting handicap debutant.

SENOR CARROTS was less than a length behind Scarlet Dancer over 7f here a week ago and is open to plenty of improvement after that encouraging handicap debut. He was a little short of room in the closing stages and may be able to turn the tables on that rival if handling the drop back in trip. Scarlet Dancer, whose only win came over this trip at Chelmsford last year for Richard Fahey, has run several good races at this venue and is likely to contend again from stall one. Inishmot Prince has won three times here over 5f and the trip looked a bit far when he was fourth over 7f last time. He has plenty of placed form over this distance and should be thereabouts. No Speed Limit comes here in form but is always more likely to place than win.

Lightly-raced three-year-old ROMAN SONG showed much improved form when fitted with a tongue-tie for his AW debut two weeks ago. He was prominent throughout and saw out this trip well when going down by just half a length to a mare that was winning for the fifth time at this venue. A reproduction of that run off just a 1lb higher mark will see him very much in contention. Wajaaha overcame a tardy start when winning over 1m4f here on Friday having won a selling hurdle at Plumpton prior to that. He has been placed over 1m6f but his stamina for this trip is still open to question and he's 2lb wrong at the weights under his mandatory penalty. Well Funded has won over hurdles at Listowel and Punchestown this autumn and stayed on for third over 1m4f here last time. She was a three-time winner over 1m6f in Britain earlier in her career and looks worth another try at this distance.

Dancing Approach won on her first start for Joseph O'Brien at Leopardstown last year having been switched from Roger Charlton's yard and her full-sister DANCING TANGO can emulate her. The daughter of Camelot was only beaten three lengths in a competitive 1m4f handicap on Shergar Cup day at Ascot on her final start in Britain and will be hard to beat if running close to that form. Marvelosa is a little less exposed than many of these and caught the eye when staying on strongly to finish fourth in a Curragh maiden in June. He was third over the extended ten furlongs here last month and stepping back up in trip should suit. The selection's stablemate River Rain has been knocking on the door in recent months and she's twice been beaten little more than a length at this trip. This will be her first time on the surface and she won't be far away if handling it adequately.

TURF RANGE hasn't been the easiest to train but won twice over C&D last year and his two runs since returning from his latest absence have been creditable. Beaten just over two lengths here last time, he looks poised to go well under Wayne Lordan who gets a good tune out of him. Cold Steel missed last year having shown promise at two and ran well to be fourth in a Leopardstown handicap over a mile when last seen in June. The American-bred promises to be suited by this surface although his stamina for this trip is unproven. Mads Black Eights has been in great form here over 1m2f with a win and two seconds in recent weeks. She was below-par when tried over this trip on her penultimate start but is given another chance to show that she stays. Dreal Deal has been in the doldrums since rattling up a six-timer across the codes over eighteen months ago. There were signs of a revival at the Curragh last time and the booking of Colin Keane will keep bookmakers on their toes.
