MOLON LABE was disappointing here last time but he had previously won with a bit in hand at Chepstow and could be the one to beat today if running close to his mark of 103. Samtheman has been knocking on the door in handicap company and he commands the utmost respect dropping to plating class. My Viking Bay could also take a hand while neither Bonoman nor Aim could be confidently ruled out.

BALLINAHOW STAR looked potentially useful in novice and maiden hurdles and she could prove a little better than her handicap mark of 120, especially with further improvement possible. Xaarcet has progressed in leaps and bounds but the handicapper might just have caught up with him now. Saroque must be respected despite a 7lb rise for his 2m4f Wetherby success last time and Chemistry Master also commands respect making his handicap debut.

Wayward Frolic won with plenty in hand over this C&D last time and although this is tougher, he can go well again despite his 8lb higher mark. Meet The Critics is respected and Quarl Ego can go well but the verdict goes to SANDY'S DOUBLE. He carries a 7lb penalty for his 3m2f Wincanton success last time but that was a very taking success and he could still have more to offer.

BURY PARADE was denied by the narrowest of margins over 2m at Wincanton last time and providing he copes with the step up in trip, he will take plenty of beating here. Grey Gold scored at Carlisle last month and that form has since been franked by the runner-up so he commands respect but the biggest danger could be King Of The Night. The latter finished well beaten in a Grade 2 contest last time but his chasing debut effort prior to that was very encouraging.

ROBIN WILL comes into this on the back of impressive wins over 3m here and at Leicester and the drop in trip should not be too much of a problem so he should take all the beating. Betabob would be a big player on his best form and Noble Ben should not be ignored after an encouraging effort between the flags last month. Jayo is also worthy of consideration.

Mountaineer is returning from a massive lay-off but he is interesting on his handicap debut and the market should provide the best guide to what is expected. Gizzit has each-way claims and Look For Love is considered. Royal Peak should not be ignored, despite running from out of the handicap, but a chance is taken on SHOUDA. He showed little in three starts over hurdles for Barney Curley but could well fare better now tackling handicap company off a mark of just 87.

KIM TIAN ROAD made a winning return from over two years off the track here last month and an opening handicap mark of 109 could be within her capabilities. She edges the verdict over Scales, who has been raised 3lb for his Taunton success last month. Key To Milan, High Ville and Clouds Of Mist all make the shortlist, whilst Runaway Green should not be overlooked on his first foray into handicap company.

It is very difficult to oppose the progressive JUPITER REX here. Venetia Williams' representative has won his last seven (four over hurdles and three over fences) and his Newton Abbot success over larger obstacles came off a mark of 105 so he should be very hard to beat off a mark of 100 returned to hurdles today. Brockwell Park is unexposed and she has each-way claims while Coddington Boy could also get involved on his handicap bow.
