Semi Colon has shaped nicely on both of her outings over hurdles to date and she should be capable of getting her head in front before long, but she probably has a little bit to find with PEPITE ROSE. Venetia Williams' filly scored over 2m at Warwick last month and the way she travelled on that occasion suggested she will not have any problems with this longer trip. Playful Rose and Hazy Dawn are also worthy of consideration.
Dual-winner Pepite Rose looks sure to make a bold bid, but bumper scorer Semi Colon has shaped well on both starts over hurdles and may improve past her. Playful Rose is progressing with racing and another to consider.

ROALCO DE FARGES took a step in the right direction when third at Chepstow last month and, with further improvement possibly, he is fancied to make an impact on his handicap debut today. Baccalaureate has dropped to an attractive handicap mark and, although his recent form is uninspiring, it would be foolish to write him off. Come Out Firing has place prospects and Switched Off could be in the shake-up, while Uncle Bunge could surprise.
Roalco de Farges has plenty going for him as a progressive youngster taking on largely exposed types. He probably has most to fear from the in-form Switched Off, while Baccalaureate could go forward from his latest effort with a tongue strap back on.

Shaking Hands was quite impressive when winning over 3m2f at Warwick last time and a 12lb rise for that might not prevent another big run from him. Raise You Five has been hit with an 8lb rise for her Southwell win but she is accorded the utmost respect once more. However, in a wide open contest, another opportunity is given to FLINTOFF who is beginning to look very attractively handicapped. His recent form hardly sets the pulse racing but he could go close here if bouncing back to something like his best.
A competitive staying event and several hold claims, but Shaking Hands and Raise You Five do stand out as the obviously progressive types in the line-up. River Indus has been given a chance by the handicapper and is one to consider at bigger odds towards the foot of the weights.

Stolen Thunder looks a decent performer in the making and there is every reason to expect a big run from him today.
