INCHIDALY ROCK comes here with a big reputation having yet to be beaten in three impressive performances between the flags. Now in the care of champion trainer Paul Nicholls, he looks a fascinating prospect for staying novice hurdles this year. He can make a winning debut under Rules but he won't have things all his own way with Junior setting a high standard having finished third in the Coral Cup back in March. Of the rest, Another Display takes the eye on his first start under rules.

The consistent Richard's Sundance is expected to make his presence felt on today's return to action with heavy ground Warwick winner Supreme Cara another likely contender. However, TAKE A MILE appeared to relish the step up in trip when winning with a bit in hand at Fontwell last month and, only 6lb higer in weights today for that success, he can win again.

NEVADA ROYALE returns to chasing today having last been seen in this sphere when producing a bold show prior to falling at the final fence in a Grade 2 contest at Newbury back in December. A winner over hurdles here since, he remains an exciting chasing prospect and is fancied to see off three-times hurdle winner Quickbeam as well as Oscar Bay.

Only four go to post for this beginners' chase and CHAPOTURGEON is given the confident vote. Chasing has always promised to prove his game, but two successes over hurdles last term confirmed he has plenty of class. He can make a winning chasing debut at the expense of I Hear A Symphony who also tackles fences for the first time today having looked a useful prospect over hurdles last season. Axinit and Knapp Bridge Boy complete the field.

Deep Quest was always in command when landing last year's renewal of this race but he is 19lb higher in the weights today and could be worth taking on with FOLIE A DEUX. The 6-y-o made a pleasing chasing debut when fifth at Plumpton last term and, with the booking of Tony McCoy taking the eye on his return to action, he looks a leading player. Chasing newcomer Baseball Ted completes the short-list.

Winning pointer Blazing Diva is interesting on her first start under NH rules but the one to beat looks to be DANCINGWITHTHEBLUES. This daughter of Supreme Leader looked a real prospect when winning two of her three starts in bumper company last term and is expected to prove an exciting addition to the hurdling ranks. Flow Gently Along shaped well when third on her recent Towcester hurdling introduction and rates as a likely danger along with Oscarvail.
