USTICA built on his Newcastle success when fourth in the valuable Goffs Land Rover Bumper at last season's Punchestown Festival and providing his jumping is up to scratch first time over hurdles, he could prove extremely difficult to beat. Via Sundown looks the obvious danger reverting to hurdles after winning three of his last four chase starts, while Riversbridge is worth a market check ahead of his introduction.

Jupiter Rex notched up seven wins in a row during late 2012/early 2013 and the betting market could prove best guide to his chances now returning, while American Life must come into the reckoning following his runaway victory at Fontwell last Friday. The vote, however, goes to BUCKHORN TIMOTHY. A couple of placed efforts last month read well and he certainly wouldn't be winning out of turn.

MINELLAHALFCENTURY gets the vote to make a winning debut over fences. Although shaping with plenty of promise in five hurdling appearances (winning two), he has always given the impression that chasing would be the making of him and reported to have had a breathing operation during the summer as well, he could improve to another level. His biggest threats look to be Ballyculla and Desert Joe, other talented hurdlers sent chasing for the first time.

BABY KING was bought into the Tom George stable (from Robbie Burns) for 130,000 euros a few weeks ago after his game victory over subsequent winner Emperor Of Exmoor at Navan in March and having already proven that he goes well fresh, he gets the vote to double up. Goohar didn't disgrace himself in Grade 3 company last time and is feared most off bottom-weight, while Dormello Mo has questions to answer following his disappointing return at Chepstow.

157-rated hurdler Ptit Zig is sure to go off a skinny price for his chasing debut and obviously demands respect, but Paul Nicholls recently reported that the gelding hasn't been the most natural jumper of a fence at home and with Exeter not the easiest of places to jump around, he could be worth taking on with KINGS LAD. Also tackling fences for the first time, his latest second over hurdles at Newbury in March took a big boost when the winner, Volnay De Thaix, dotted up at Huntingdon on Tuesday and he can take full advantage if the favourite's jumping isn't up to scratch. Loyaute also has a squeak, with Rock Of Fife right up against it.

With all of his opposition arriving on the back of lacklustre performances, this looks a great opportunity for TOLKEINS TANGO. Returning from a 225-day absence isn't too much of a concern for the past course winner as he has run well fresh in the past and a repeat of his second at Newton Abbot (off 2lb higher) last time should suffice. Boss In Boots is another course winner certainly capable capable if on a going day while Temple Lord is well treated on his best form.

TARA POINT looks banker material in the finale. She was reportedly only half-fit when bolting up on her debut in a bumper at Taunton and, spoke about in glowing terms by Paul Nicholls in a recent stable tour, it will be disappointing if she doesn't follow up on her hurdling bow. Lady Of Longstone is clearly a lot better than showing at Plumpton and quickly reappearing, a much better run is forecast, while point-to-point scorer Drumviredy adds further spice to the contest.
