Aussie Deal has filled the runner-up spot in both 'bumper' starts and Could play a leading role on her hurdling bow, but SILVER SPINNER gets the vote to make experience count. She was impressive when scoring over 2m5f at Towcester last time and can defy a 6lb penalty with little fuss. Cherry Flora is having his first run over the sticks today and is another worthy of consideration.

In what looks a tricky puzzle for punter's to solve, it could pay to side with WIDELY ACCEPTED. He produced a much improved showing when runner-up over 2m at Leicester latest and a repeat performance may be good enough to take this. King Caine faces his easiest task of late and rates the biggest threat, while Archie Gunn is another that cannot be left out of calculations.

Private Be has been knocking on the door of late and seems sure to be involved at the finish again but SILVERBURN will be fancied to reverse recent form. He made a couple of shocking mistakes when sixth in the Paddy Power Chase at Cheltenham (Private Be third) but is better off at the weights here and should also be suited by this smaller field. Nacarat ended last season on a downbeat note but is a decent chaser at his best and has gone well fresh before.

A chance is taken on GOLDEN CHILD here. He finished last of four in a what has turned out to be a hot beginners' chase (first and third have won since) at Carlisle last time and has much less on his plate today. Stolen Moments rarely finishes out of the frame and seems sure to make his presence felt here, while Pass Me A Dime is another with solid place credentials.

The Philip Hobbs-trained KORNATI KID was by no means disgraced when fourth behind the useful Wichita Lineman (has won again since) over 3m at Chepstow last time and, with this drop in trip likely to suit, he looks the one to beat. Quickbeam should mount a bold bid if managing a clear round having blundered away his chance once again last time, while Theatre Dance is another that warrants respect.

Tambourine Ridge showed plenty of promise in five starts over hurdles last term (winning once) and is expected to go well on her chasing debut, but KATESS gets the confident nod. She bumped into a progressive sort when runner-up over 2m5f at Wincanton last time and should benefit from this drop in trip. Lamanver Homerun was still travelling kindly when unseating his rider that day and is another in with a shout.

BURGESS HILL appeared to have plenty left in reserve when landing the spoils over a similar trip at Plumpton recently and, with that confidence booster under his belt, he can defy a 12lb hike in the weights. Nemetan won readily in a chase here last time and can race off a much lower mark back over timber, while Bollitree Bob could be another worth monitoring in the betting market on his return.
