Verdict

NEWCREST is a nice looking three-year-old colt and was backed in both his starts to date. Although disappointing to date it is quite possible he can win in a field such as this. ARMORIAL showed good improvement in his first start for the Dorrie Sham yard. This course and distance will suit. MY FRIEND FRED, JOHNNY RINGO and MR HANSEN can improve so have to be considered.

Another modest maiden plate. FORT KALIMENTA has tended to lack extra late in his last two starts. This slightly shorter trip could be what he is looking for. SEVENTH BROTHER ran a much better race last time on the turf but has proven himself on this surface so deserves utmost respect. Verdict

PURELY ATOMIC came from the clouds when getting up to beat the decent La Rebel last time out. A wide draw and giving weight away to the whole field puts a damper on her winning chances but she could defy yet another penalty. CUP CAKE tried hard but found Judbury too good for her last time out but it was her first run on the Polytrack so she could do better this time.
