EN OR sets the standard here on his return to jumping. The Tony Martin-trained gelding was well-beaten in two competitive Flat handicaps during the summer but it could be a different story now over hurdles. He was third in a Punchestown maiden hurdle back in February and a repeat of that would be enough now. Wonderful Everyday had some nice bumper form but needs to improve on her two outings over jumps to date. Saying that, she could be a danger. Firebrand has been knocking on the door and should pick up prize money again.
A big field but plenty of deadwood in here. EN OR hasn't been in the best of form on the Flat, but his latest hurdles effort when third in a maiden event at Punchestown in February stands out here and a reproduction of that can see him off the mark. The Mullins mare, Wonderful Everyday, hasn't yet fulfilled early promise but it's still quite early in her career and she should improve. Its Time For A Run is third choice having won a bumper last time. Improvement is needed on earlier hurdles runs, though.

MART LANE wasn't disgraced in a competitive event at the Festival here last time and should be capable of a big run in a moderate-looking contest. The Awtaad gelding was eighth behind the in-form Timurshah then and remains on the same mark. That was his first start after a break and he may improve a bit. Euro Maker opened his account at Ballinrobe last time and bids to defy a 6lb rise. He remains fairly unexposed and could go well again. Roc My Haarth won off this mark, over fences, when last seen in early April and is another to consider on his return.
This looks really competitive. Paul Collins will be of interest soon but this trip looks on the sharp side, and a better option is INTHENICKOFTIME, who might actually benefit from this drop to 2m. He's probably better as a chaser, but his hurdles mark is still fair. Euro Maker, off the mark at Ballinrobe, is only a 5yo and has plenty more to offer, as do handicap debutants Colin's Friend, off since February, and the 4yo I'm All In. Both hail from top stable's but need to brush up their jumping.

This looks like a nice opportunity for BLOOD DESTINY back over hurdles. The seven-year-old took a handicap chase at the Festival here in fine style and looks nicely treated in this event, considering he is rated 156 now over fences. Buddy One wasn't disgraced when eighth in the Galway Plate on his last visit and could be a danger. He has a mark of 142 over timber. Paul's Dream has a nice weight with her mares allowance and Alan O'Sullivan taking off 5lb. She could get involved at the finish.
Blood Destiny is the class-act of the field albeit his best efforts have come since chasing in recent years. He's hurdling for the first time since 2023 and whether he has the stamina for this extended 2m5f remains to be seen. Let's instead take a chance with the mare PAUL'S DREAM, a former course winner who has been in fine form in handicaps and was kept ticking over with a first Flat run last time. She needs improvement but could find it. Former C&D scorer Buddy One is third choice but needs more.

JOSHUA CHAMBERLAIN may be able to reverse form with Princess Felicia. The Gerry Keane-trained gelding did well to chase home that rival at Ballinrobe last time after a jarring mistake two from home. He stayed on well in the closing stages without making an impression but is now 5lb better off. Princess Felicia was a deserving winner that day, after a couple of placed efforts, and has to be respected despite a 6lb rise. Clone Cross is noted too.
There's almost certainly more to come from PRINCESS FELICIA, a mare on the up who built on her improved Tramore second with a good win over this trip at Ballinrobe last time. Her new mark still looks reasonable and she can follow up here. Joshua Chamberlain, runner-up to the selection last time, can again emerge as the danger with a small swing at the weights a help. Others to fear include Clone Cross, carrying top weight but in good form, and Deise Crystal, who could benefit from a small step back up in trip.

A chance is taken on the unexposed TAWNY LEA, who had four moderate efforts before she caught the eye last time out when having to switch twice before staying on into fifth. She runs off the same mark and is of real interest. Journey So Far is 12lb lower over hurdles and his Tramore win over fences is working out very well. Tantrum Boy ran admirably last time when second at Wexford and should remain competitive.
Let's go with the hat-trick chaser STRONG CONTENDER, a thoroughly progressive mare over staying trips who shouldn't have any issue with the slight drop in trip now fitted with a first-time tongue-tie. She's up 6lb but has that offset by her rider's claim. Former Galway Hurdle winner NDAAWI is the class act in the race. Rated 150 over hurdles, Gordon Elliott's charge comfortably won the Pat Smullen Cancer Trials Charity Race last time out at the Curragh under Nina Carberry, which should have put him spot-on for this assignment. Ocastle Des Mottes sets the chasing standard with a rating of 126 and he has an experience edge. Paul Townend's mount may need to improve to win, while Captain Ryan Matt should also make the frame.
NDAAWI isn't bred for this discipline but the classy dual purpose performer should have too much for this field. The former Galway Hurdle winner arrives on the back of a Flat win and should be suited by this relative speed test. Perhaps the most interesting opponent is Mongibello who was a very useful novice hurdler last year at around 2 1/2m. The former pointer is likely to need this after a long absence but he is a potential improver for the switch to chasing. That comment applies to Captain Ryan Matt as well given his connections and he developed into a progressive handicap hurdler last autumn. He needs to prove his stamina for further than 2m but should be thereabouts if doing so.

BRICKFIELD BELLE improved massively from her hurdling debut when running in a bumper. Henry De Bromhead's charge hit the front in the closing stages on her second run in a Clonmel bumper, but she was unable to hold on. However, a replication of that form after a 165-day layoff should be good enough here. Discussion has been off the track for over two years and was highly tried in her younger days after finishing runner-up on debut. This is a fair step down in grade for the daughter of Dawn Approach and it will be interesting to see what the market makes of her on this return. Maxdale Prinxess was green on debut, but the booking of Derek O'Connor is eye-catching.
Plenty of runners but it's BRICKFIELD BELLE who appeals quite strongly. From a top yard, she made a promising hurdles debut at Naas in February and backed that up with a good third in a bumper at Clonmel. Conditions may be less testing this time, but she's much the most likely winner. Baymount has run well in bumpers the last twice and should again be thereabouts, while Streamhill, although likely wanting further, has place claims and is third choice.
