FOLLOW YOUR LUCK had seven lengths in hand over Dunkerque off level weights when they clashed over hurdles at Sedgefield in February and it is hard to see the form being reversed given he gets 10lb from his sole rival here. Admittedly, Dunkerque has improved greatly as a chaser since then but, on these terms, he will need everything to go his way to turn the tables on his old adversary.
Dunkerque has been thriving this summer winning 4 of his 5 starts over fences. However a couple of these contests have fallen apart including his latest Stratford win so his mark may now be high enough. FOLLOW YOUR LUCK won both of his starts over hurdles and ran well for a long way on his chase debut before his fitness gave out. He's been generously eased a couple of pounds despite the form being franked and can take advantage.

COSMOS D'AINAY won comfortably at Cork last time out and the Irish raider looks well placed to follow up. The son of Muhtathir picks up a 7lb penalty for that success but he appears progressive enough to boost his profile further, with Sean Bowen a notable jockey booking. Kilbeggan winner Puppet Master also travels over from Ireland and is the prime candidate for the forecast slot. The consistent Datstheholyallofit is next best.
COSMOS D'AINAY left his previous form behind when off the mark last time at Cork and with that form franked he is picked to defy the penalty. Puppet Master was also a winner in Ireland last time and the ex Ballydoyle inmate should have more to offer in this discipline now he has the hang of jumping. He is a former Listed winner on the Flat so could have a class edge. Bumper winner Datstheholyallofit threw a good opportunity away last time and hasn't looked the easiest ride but also has a chance on form.

TRY THEM was a ready winner of a maiden hurdle over C&D last month and he steps into handicap company with a big chance. A likely pace angle in the race, the mount of Brian Hughes is an adept jumper and his chance is enhanced by a 2lb weight-for-age allowance. Castleheath's peak Irish form is respectable and he is another with wriggle room off his current mark. Scriabin and Pure Gold are others to note.
A strong race where last time out C&D winner Try Them is likely to prove popular. He looks well treated for his handicap debut judged on his winter juvenile form but the Tristran Davidson stable has been in flying form of late so NOBOTHERATALL is marginally preferred. He brings in some strong novice form and ran better than the finishing figures suggest last time where he was just outstayed over a stiff 2 1/2m. REGAL RENAISSANCE didn't quite finish her race off as expected when bidding for a four-timer at Worcester in July. However, the eight-year-old had a valid excuse given she lost a shoe and it wouldn't be a huge surprise if she regained the winning thread. No Regrets still retains plenty of enthusiasm based on his victory at Hexham and subsequent runner-up effort at the same track, while Inis Oirr is capable too.
REGAL RENAISSANCE was outstayed over a stiff 3m last time so her stamina has to be a slight concern once again but she has been in fine form for some time and it's notable that Sean Bowen keeps the faith. She is only 2lb higher than when winning on her penultimate start and will be suited by the sound surface once again. She can defeat in form No Regrets who went a bit too fast last time but remains well treated on his best form. Veteran Inis Oirr can race lazily but he has generally been in good form of late and will also be a threat if on a going day.

A winner here over 2m in July, he duly followed up when returning to this distance last time and clearly gets on well with jockey Murray Dodd. Annie Agnew was runner-up behind the selection latest and is likely to pose a solid threat, while others to consider include handicap debutant Bogha Baiste and Lowlands.
A fiendishly difficult contest where C&D hat trick seeker Follow Charlie is oppose off his revised mark. The narrow verdict goes to Irish raider GARRICK PAINTER who has to prove his stamina but was looking a huge threat when slipping up on the bend last time over 2m. He looks well treated on that form and is chosen to defeat C&D maiden winner Lowlands. She has held her form well in defeat recently and her latest run is worth marking up as she was eased off late. With that form franked she looks a huge danger along with Bogha Baiste who shaped as if in need of further than 2m here last time. He's entitled to come on for that first outing since the spring.

Theirshegoes took a step in the right direction when runner-up over just shy of 3m at Uttoxeter in July and she is likely to be competitive. C'mon So is expected to build on his C&D fourth behind Dalileo last time and may well reverse the form on 7lb better terms, but the vote goes to DOWN AROUND. Gordon Elliott's horses always warrant the utmost respect when sent over from Ireland and the booking of Sean Bowen is another major positive.
The Nicky Richards yard has been in good form of late and could enjoy more success with SAUCE OF LIFE who shaped as if in need of the run when emptying late at Uttoxeter last time. He's well treated on his old form prior to a lay off and is worth chancing ahead of recent winner Down Around. The Irish raider was unsuited by the drop to 2m5f last time but should enjoy this stiff test. Consistent veteran Dalileo was let down by his jumping in his hat trick bid last time but should also run his usual solid race. He may fill the final place on the podium.
