Floozy's Storm has been in prolific form on dirt, landing a hat-trick with plenty to spare last time out, and warrants plenty of respect as she tries her luck on grass for the first time. The safest bet, however, may be SPLASHOF PANACHE who was held by the shortest of margins over 1m at Bay Meadows (She Will Get Away third) on her turf debut and is the fastest at today's trip.

PRECIOUS GEM has filled the runner-up berth on three of her five starts, including in a tougher event over 6f latest, and can confirm her place as the fastest among these over this trip. Glamorous Lacey made the frame in a higher grade at this distance at Bay Meadows on only her second outing and there should be more to come, while Latin Angel has shown signs of ability.

Crowning Camilla couldn't have been more impressive when breaking her duck over 6f and should have more in the tank. However, a 13-month lay-off tempers enthusiasm and the preference is for CAR LADY. After winning well in August, she has twice gone a close second in similar events to this and is still improving.

A disappointing event, even by maiden standards, and CRIMSON SPORT could be the one to follow. She has been competing in better company and put up highest last speed-figure in 5.5f contest. Mira Wind would be of interest if fully tuned up after a lengthy lay-off and Black Beauty Cutie should have more to offer as she reverts to dirt.

SNOWBOUND NAN wired the field when narrowly holding on last time in a slightly tougher race over this trip, with Langfuhr's Magic back in third. The latter has won in the same grade but on recent form it's hard to see her reversing the placings. Venture Forever has been working well but will need to step up on recent form.

Beau Bryan looks the pick of the newcomers and could go well. Storm War hasn't run for six months but is the fastest of these on dirt and was second in similar on his only start. He should go close here but might find one too good in ACCOUNTABLE, another long-term absentee. He was beaten a nose in tougher in his only race and looked sharp when working out over 4f this week. He could prove too good here.

Double Lyph hasn't run for more than nine months but she won a $27k maiden last time out and if fully fit should be involved in the shake-up today. Too Much Love is the quickest over this trip but hasn't won for a long time and preference is for HAVE CONFIDENCE, who just failed to hold on over six and a half furlongs last time in similar and could have the edge over today's trip.

It's hard to see anything here getting the better of HEAVENLY HUMOR. She's won similar contests four times this year and capped a fine campaign this month by scoring by five lengths in an $80k optional claimer. She looks far too good for her rivals. Yerevan Star, who won a couple of similar races last winter, looks the only real danger but Jasmine's Glen, who has a fine strike rate in weaker races, could run a big race.

Happy Zone and Crossing Borders both had to settle for third place last time, but Art Sherman's three-year-old was just a neck away in a blanket finish and could go closer, but preference is for WILD INSPIRATION. Charles Jenda's gelding was a three-length winner at Bay Meadows and could be the one to beat this afternoon.
