LA BACOUETTEUSE hasn't ran to his best so far this year but was dropped 2lb for his recent effort at Ripon and is fairly treated on his Ayr win last September over 1m7f. Lara Carbonara has improved for the step up in distance of late and deserves respect with solid course form to boast, while Sherman McCoy has been running respectably and should be thereabouts.

WHAT'S THE STORY is entitled to improve plenty for his C&D debut here last week where he ran green for the majority of the contest before putting in some nice late work. The son of Harbour Watch should be more streetwise here and looks the one to beat. Indigo Beat performed with credit in the Hilary Needler and has solid claims, while Bongrace contested a decent maiden at Leicester and should improve for the experience.

Indastar bounced back when third at Newcastle earlier in the month behind Roy's Legacy and remains on the same mark here. However, preference goes to another horse beaten by Roy's Legacy last time in UNDER APPROVAL who won this contest twelve months ago and is capable of winning this again despite having not won off a mark as high as this in the past. Very First Blade warrants respect after a recent C&D success.

PARLIAMENTARIAN ran well on his only start as a two-year-old when third in a Redcar maiden back in October and the son of Dubawi is entitled to have improved plenty for the experience and for the time given to him by connections. Warp Factor could improve for the first time blinkers and has decent course form, while Eez Eh showed considerable improvement from debut to his second start and can improve again.

HIDDEN REBEL takes a drop in class having been eased 2lb by the handicapper after her effort at Musselburgh earlier this month and the daughter of Cockney Rebel is only 2lb above her last winning mark. Ionization won on her handicap debut here over 6f and is a danger to all if seeing out the longer distance, while Rosamaria was third at Haydock last time and could improve on that effort back against her own sex.

APRICOT SKY runs under a 6lb penalty following his ready Ripon triumph last week and wasn't winning out of turn. The son of Pastoral Pursuits had previously ran a close third in a good race at Carlisle and is well worth sticking with while he's evidently on good terms with himself. Similar sentiments apply to Koptoon and he must be taken seriously, while Imperial Legend and Royal Brave can also get competitive.

When taking into account Adam McNamara's claim, ROYAL CONNOISSEUR is effectively 7lb lower than when winning over this trip at Ripon last week. Richard Fahey's charge escapes a penalty for winning that apprentice riders race and is due to go up 3lb in the future. Cosmic Chatter ran a very creditable second over C&D 15 days ago and heads the list of dangers from Born Innocent, an unexposed track and trip scorer.
