TEAK has improved no end since reverting to the Flat scene this year and if able to transfer his useful all-weather form to the turf, Ian Williams' charge is taken to recapture the winning thread. The market is expected to prove the best guide to the chance of Isitcozimcool on his return from a lengthy absence, but Bavarian Nordic is feared most having threatened to score at Doncaster in similar company last month.

If the market vibes are positive for Filfil on his racecourse debut for Mahmood Al Zarooni, the son of Hard Spun must be taken seriously, but MYSTERIAL looked in need of this step up in trip when failing to justify cramped odds in a Newbury maiden latest and Richard Hannon's charge is given another chance. The son of Invincible Spirit is open to stacks of improvement on his third career start and, although Luhaif has caught the eye in two starts for Mick Channon, Sean Levey's mount looks the one to be on.

Gabrial's Bounty hasn't finished out of the first two home in seven starts since the turn of the year but while Mick Channon's charge is likely to prove a popular choice among each-way punters, ABI SCARLET is preferred. Hughie Morrison has his Baltic King filly in fine form and, while this represents a step into the unknown on the turf, her form on the fibresand at Southwell would suggest she may appreciate some cut in the surface. The unexposed Dos Amigos also warrants close consideration.

The penny appears to have dropped with Trail Blaze, who arrives in search of a hat-trick for Kevin Ryan and he warrants a place on the shortlist. DANCE THE RAIN, however, has underfoot conditions back in her favour and can reverse the form of her head defeat behind Trail Blaze at Haydock last month now 1lb better off at the weights. The Rock Of Gibraltar filly can be forgiven her recent C&D flop on unsuited fast ground and it would be no surprise to see her get her head back in front. The relatively unexposed Lelaps makes most appeal of the others.

Both Lucky Dan and First In Command are thriving at present but HAAJES has come right back down to a mark off which he can get competitive and he appears to represent the best value at the forecast prices. The gelded son of Indian Ridge scored in a better race at Doncaster over this trip off a 1lb lower mark last September and looks to have underfoot conditions in his favour here.

Like many from her yard, NEIGE D'ANTAN qualified for her mark from three runs over a shorter trip before being ramped up to middle distances for her handicap bow at Leicester latest. Although beaten into third that day, she showed enough promise to suggest she was up to winning races with the benefit of that pipe-opener now behind her. Brockwell and the penalised Sea Fever also turned in creditable displays over this trip at the same venue latest and look weighted to finish in the shake-up.
