Course-and-distance winner Mon Port is only 6lb behind CHEF DE TROUPE on official figures and receives 10lb here, so he has to be respected. However, the latter produced a career-best performance when winning a Perth handicap last time and a repeat effort will make him extremely hard to beat in this lesser event. Field Exhibition receives plenty of weight off the aforementioned pair and isn't out of it either.

ORCHESTRAL RAIN is open to that bit more improvement than Fraterculus and although 6lb worse off for beating that rival by only one and a quarter lengths at Ludlow 25 days ago, he could step forward enough to confirm his superiority and follow up. Away from that pair, Camouflaged and Tamaris are both interesting Flat recruits and we could be seeing them involved at the finish if jumping fluently.

Bourbon Beauty, Didonato and Squaw Vallee all bring solid bumper form to the table and are respected, but this could be fought out between the past hurdle winners PERFECT MYTH and Who What When. Both have been in cracking form recently and look set for a good tussle, but the former is 12lb ahead on official ratings and is fancied to give 6lb and a beating to her main rival.

Senior Citizen represents last year's winning stable and warrants plenty of respect looking to follow up his Newton Abbot victory, but ESPOIR DE ROMAY gets the vote in receipt of 10lb. Representing a Kim Bailey stable going great guns at present, the 142-rated hurdler looks made to jump a fence and could prove a tough nut to crack on his chasing debut. He has undergone wind surgery since last sighted and wears a tongue-tie for the first time, so connections are leaving nothing to chance. Gateway To Europe might prove best of the remainder.

LOTS OF LUCK benefited from wind surgery when scoring nicely at Ffos Las on his return to action and a 9lb rise might not be enough to stop Kim Bailey's gelding from progressing again. Wenceslaus can step forward from his second at Uttoxeter last month and he has to be respected along with Bathiva, who has joined Fergal O'Brien's stable since his last start when winning at Taunton in March.

INNISFREE LAD made a winning start for Tom Symonds over C&D last month and the eight-year-old appears capable of handling a 4lb rise on this occasion. Felix D'autry placed on his handicap debut at Fontwell and is likely to appreciate the step up in trip, while Shantou Sunset ran with credit on his first try over further than 3m when third at Newton Abbot and isn't one to discount.

WYE AYE wasn't disgraced when third on his chasing debut at Market Rasen and the step back up in distance is unlikely to faze him with that outing under his belt. West To Crossgales has been knocking on the door on his last couple of starts, finishing second at Uttoxeter and Sedgefield, and he is likely to enter calculations along with Honourmission, a recent winner at Sedgefield.

THE LATE LEGEND has improved considerably on his last couple of starts when winning by 11 lengths at Sedgefield and over C&D under a penalty last month. Despite an 11lb rise, he is taken to confirm the latter performance with Easter Eric, who now sports blinkers having benefited from a visor when attempting to make all. Auld Sod and Friends Don't Ask appear best of the remainder.
