BEAUBOREEN could be the one that goes under the radar in the opener and the course winner has come down to an attractive mark of 108 on the pick of his form. Jennie Candlish's charge will need to step up markedly on performances at Wetherby and Uttoxeter but did win over the 3m2f trip here off 12lb higher two years ago and the first-time visor may prompt a return to something like that form. Market Option is feared most on the back of a decent second-placed effort at Ludlow and joins Squeeze Me on the shortlist.

A competitive renewal in which BAOULET DELAROQUE is taken to continue on a steep upward trajectory. Paul Nicholls' French recruit is two wins from three starts on these shores and absolutely dotted up off a mark of 124 on his handicap bow at Wincanton last week. Shouldering a 7lb penalty for that easy success, the son of Ungaro is 8lb well-in at the weights and is well worth sticking with for now. Champagne Express looks a chaser in the making but remains a force to be reckoned with in this discipline, completing off the same mark which saw him finish a good fourth at Cheltenham in November, while chances are also given to One For The Guv'nr and Value At Risk.

VAZARO DELAFAYETTE hasn't been sighted for 441 days but connections can be rewarded for their patience and, representing David Pipe's stable, he's expected to have been fully wound up for his reappearance. Last seen giving the smart Spookydooky an eight-length hammering over hurdles at Newbury, the son of Robin Des Champs remains an unexposed quantity and goes fencing for the first time off what looks a workable mark. Castle Cheetah and Kap Jazz rate best of the rest.

Ma du Fou has won both starts so far this season by a combined total of 16 lengths and warrants plenty of respect in his bid to complete the hat-trick, while Minella Awards just lost out to a subsequent winner on his hurdling debut at Newbury and can show up well again. Final Nudge has plenty of experience on his side and drops in class after struggling in Grade 2 company at Warwick, but NORTH HILL HARVEY looks like the one that they all have to beat. He built on his promising second behind Barters Hill (has since won a Grade 2 and Grade 1 contest) when winning readily at Cheltenham and there should be plenty more to come from Dan Skelton's charge.

A lot of these have been struggling to find any sort of form recently so it might be worth siding with the returning GENSTONE TRAIL. Quite how fit she is after a 672-day break remains to be seen, but she made an encouraging start to her chasing career (second at Towcester) when last seen and potentially looks a notch above these rivals. Classinaglass drops in class after disappointing at Kelso and has every chance if putting his best foot forward, while Stars Royale is also capable on a going day.

The form of ROYAL DEBUTANTE's Ludlow success took a big boost when the runner-up came out and won next time and, likely to improve for this slightly quicker surface, she gets the vote to follow up under a penalty. My Khaleesi lost little in defeat when three-parts of a length second on her debut at Warwick and she is likely to be in the shake-up again, while Towcester third Chilli Romance and the returning Fit The Brief add further spice to the race.

Song Saa shaped promisingly in a couple of bumper appearances last year, particularly when runner-up at Catterick latest, and she warrants plenty of respect on her return to action, but it could pay to side with Nicky Henderson's newcomer BRIGHT EYES. She is certainly bred to have plenty of ability, being a half-sister to bumper winner Chocca Wocca (also placed in Listed company in this sphere), and it will be disappointing if she doesn't go close on her debut. Beyond Measure certainly didn't disgrace herself in hot Listed event over this C&D in December and she cannot be ruled out either.
