Useful Flat performer LADY CHLOE made the perfect start to her hurdling career when scoring by 5-lengths over slightly further at Stratford in August and, entitled to have learnt a great deal from that experience, she can follow up. The hat-trick seeking Alfraamsey looks an obvious danger from the opposite end of the wights, while Dr Darcey makes most appeal of those tackling hurdles for the first time.

AUSTRALIA DAY can lead these three rivals a merry dance. This 150-rated hurdler made a promising start to his chasing career when chasing home exciting prospect, Ultimate, over slightly further at Huntingdon two weeks ago (having already jumped a fence in false start) and he showed a liking for this track when routing 2008 Champion Hurdler Katchit over timber here last year. Street Dance and Olympian may be left to scrap it out for second place.

Greylami has recorded four victories on the level and commands respect tackling hurdles for the first time today with McCoy booked to ride but RAJNAGAN, with plenty of experience under his belt, edges the vote. He looked better than ever when placed in Listed company at Market Rasen latest and the handicapper has generously only hit him with a 1lb rise. Book'em Danno is two from two in this sphere when going right-handed and cannot be ruled out.

TRAFFIC CHAOS is taken to make a winning debut over fences. He showed no signs of stopping when landing a hurdle race over an extended 2m4f trip at Southwell last time and connections presumably think he's well treated by throwing him straight into a handicap. Total Submission is rated 2lb higher than the selection over hurdles and must be considered on his chasing debut under the 'champ', while Ballagio is no forlorn hope off the bottom rung.

Nearby, the top-rated in this line-up, returns to hurdling after a disappointing start to his chasing career recently and should be in the mix, while Via Galilei ran tremendously well in some competitive events last term and demands respect now returning. The vote, however, goes to PEPE SIMO. This talented performer has already completed the full set in winning bumpers, hurdles and over fences, and won't lack for fitness on his reappearance.

ZORRO DE LA VEGA caught the eye at Uttoxeter on Thursday when he displayed great character and determination before being headed close home. In similar circumstances here, the son of Marathon is taken to go one better and the decision to turn him out immediately suggests he has come out of that race in good health. Dean's Grange continues to hit the crossbar but shouldn't be ruled out, having scored over the C&D, while of the others, Mister Matt is interesting.

FENNIS BOY took a forward step when second in a Warwick maiden last month and a reproduction of that effort would see Tim Vaughan's charge go close today. Cock Of The Rock looks the main danger in his current mood as he's twice grabbed second since sent over timber and looks capable of finding a novices' event or maiden when things drop right. Act Of Kindness showed promise when sixth in a Ffos Las bumper on debut and is another to consider.
