Bollihope has taken back-to-back races at Newcastle recently but he could prove vulnerable off top weight this evening. PAPER FACES looked in need of a step up in trip when she finished fourth over 1m last time out and she may yet prove to be better than her current rating. Power Up has a very good record on the all-weather and he can pick up some more prize money.

Flutterbee arrives here seeking a hat-trick but she will find even this moderate race harder than the races she has been winning in Jersey. MAMOO may have been caught out by the softer ground at Pontefract last time and he is better judged on his back-to-back second-place finishes prior to that. Overlord is another who needs to bounce back from a moderate run but his previous form gives the four-year-old a chance.

SPIN TOP is nothing special but a reproduction of his third place finish here a couple of weeks ago would see the son of Acclamation on the premises again this evening. The Big Short was a disappointing favourite at Chelmsford last time out but he merits respect based on his third at Chepstow the time before that. Seprani is another who should go well if back to her very best.

COMMODITY ran well in a warm Newmarket maiden on debut in April and despite a 181-day absence he improved for the step up to 1m at Windsor just over a fortnight ago. A decent third-placed effort when not without his supporters in the market can be built upon here and he can get the better of Red Trooper, a good third on his introduction at Lingfield, and James The Elder.

The eye is immediately drawn to the three-year-olds getting weight for age and OWASEYF could be the one to be on. Roger Varian's distance scorer ran better than her finishing position suggests off his mark here a fortnight ago and is well worth another look. Volition proved her breakthrough Thirsk success was no fluke when running well in defeat at Wolverhampton last time. The drop back to 7f is a negative but she's ruled out at your peril. Anonymous John and Gulland Rock add further spice to the race.

ROCK STEADY has been running consistently well all year and he looks capable of conceding weight to these rivals. His two main dangers look to be those just in behind him in the weights, Red Rannagh and Fashion Parade. Both arrive on the back of solid placed efforts at at this track and will be waiting to pounce on any mistake from the top weight.

There have been questions raised over ZLATAN's resolve in the past, but he has managed to win two of his last three starts and might be able to strike again whilst the iron is hot. Capolavoro struck the crossbar in two starts over 7f at Kempton last month and he is likely to be in the shake-up again, while Polymnia, Fast Sprite and Stormbound are others to keep an eye on.

It could pay to side with dual purpose performer OUTRATH, who clearly has plenty of ability (fifth in the valuable Goffs Land Rover bumper on his first ever start) and receives weight off all these rivals on his handicap debut. Clever Bob was only beaten half a length on soft ground at Windsor recently and warrants respect on his all-weather return, while past C&D scorers Prim And Proper and Dana's Present are others to note.
