JACK HACKETT hasn't won since September 2020 but is in good form and is suited by course, distance and good ground. He has won over C&D in the past and bumped into a nicely handicapped winner, again over C&D, last month and today's same rider again claims 7lb. Presenting Point failed to make use of his lower hurdles mark at Punchestown recently but nonetheless ran well and being a three-time chase winner who likes this distance and ground, should be competitive. My Manekineko, a nine-time winner from 116 races, continues to run well and was a chase winner in March. Weihnachts is capable at this level but almost all his form is on testing ground.

UNCLE PHIL could have his task simplified as State Of Honor has strong claims in another maiden bumper at Tramore on Saturday. Out of a winning dam and from the family of Klairon Davis, Uncle Phil ran in a tongue-tie when bumping into a smart winner on debut over course and distance last month and a mere reproduction would give him every chance. State Of Honor has beaten good horses like Kilbarry Chianti, Hey Johnny and Gaelic Arc in three runs and is quite capable, although her presence is not guaranteed. Silas Marner was Listed-placed at Limerick in March 2021 but disappointed a little at Down Royal subsequently and jumped poorly on hurdles debut in November. He returns from a break and while lightly raced in recent times, is still just a five-year-old and being Flat-bred, should be suited by a sound surface. Innellan Shore needs to show more.
