Rated 90 on official figures, Aidan O'Brien's Galileo filly KEY TO MY HEART was touched off by a head over 1m at Navan earlier in the month and wouldn't need to find much improvement in order to open her account. Her stablemate Jigsaw, a newcomer, is the pick of the other Ballydoyle representatives, though she is perfectly entitled to need this debut run and a bigger danger to the selection may be Sansibar Jewel, a nicely-bred newcomer from the Dermot Weld stable that has an entry in the Irish 1,000 Guineas.

CLONGOWES built on his debut third at Navan when landing the silver medal at Cork over 7f last time. Ultimately tapped for toe over that sharper test, Jim Bolger's New Approach colt is expected to break his duck now returned to a mile. The main dangers may be lurking among the newcomers. Aidan O'Brien's representatives, Spanish Steps, Belgravia, Abyssinian and Venice Beach, are all entitled to come on for the run, though Dermot Weld may have his Epsom Derby entrant Titus - the pick of Pat Smullen - ready to fire first time out.

ZAWRAQ got the better of Sir Isaac Newton when landing a 7f course maiden on debut two years ago. He's presumably suffered setbacks since and only made it to the track once last season - winning a Listed contest here over a mile - but he remains a colt with considerable potential. If the market vibes are positive on his return from a long break he's expected to improve for this stiffer test and take all of the beating. Santa Monica should be thereabouts now eased in grade, while recent Limerick handicap scorer Round Two could also take a hand.

MAKING LIGHT built on his debut fifth at Dundalk when romping home by eight lengths over 7f at Limerick earlier in the month. Dermot Weld's charge steps up into Group 2 company this afternoon and is expected to take the rise in class in his stride. Holistic Approach struck in a 6f Curragh maiden on debut and could appreciate this additional furlong, while recent Dundalk scorer Taj Mahal, who was only a head behind the well regarded Yucatan at the Curragh in August, completes the shortlist.

PERFECT STORM opened his account in a 1m Navan maiden earlier in the month and is expected to remain competitive now returned to handicap company. Tang Dynasty looked on good terms with himself when runner-up over the extended mile at Cork and eight days ago (with Cleona back in third) and is considered the main danger ahead of recent Limerick scorer Duck Egg Blue, who has a 6lb rise to overcome.

THE MOORE FACTOR was only beaten a length by Round Tower (runs in the 2.35) in a handicap at Limerick recently and has to be given the utmost respect from the same mark today. Aared rarely runs a bad race and he should remain extremely competitive this afternoon, while similar comments also apply to Tony The Gent. Intrepid Prince has taken his form to a new level since the visor was applied and he could yet have more to offer.

It may not have been the strongest of races that Coolfighter won at Gowran on Tuesday but he is clearly in good form and should be competitive under his 5lb penalty. That said, the preference is for PIVOT BRIDGE, who should have gone close to winning the Amateur Riders Derby at the Curragh last month with a more aggressive ride. He was held up right out of the back in that contest and after finding some trouble in running he finished a never-nearer second, for which he has rather generously been dropped 1lb in the ratings. Aimhirgin Lass is respected given her performances so far this year but she needs to prove herself over this trip, while All Souls makes his Flat debut for this yard having run well enough over hurdles earlier in the year. Elm Grove and Malinka are others to make the shortlist.

The unexposed CROCODILE SHOES looks nailed on to be thereabouts in this contest. Zig Zag and Jack Blue are others to note.
