HENCE is the one to beat based on her second-placed finish at Dundalk last time out and that followed a very encouraging run behind Magical on debut. The likes of Spanish Soprano and Teardrop Island are both entitled to improve for their respective debuts but New To Town appears to have regressed in her last couple of starts. Most Gifted is out of a high-class mare and is from the family of Pour Moi, while Sarrocchi is another Ballydoyle newcomer to note.

FULL MOON showed plenty of promise when narrowly beaten on debut at Naas a couple of weeks ago and he looks sure to improve for that effort this afternoon. Flavius is a son of War Front and he is the first foal out of a US Grade 2 winner, while Aircraft Carrier is a half-brother to a couple of Group/Listed performers. Like the selection Conclusion is another who should take a step forward this afternoon.

DROMBEG DREAM certainly wasn't winning out of turn at Cork and, with dropping back from 1m not a concern, she gets the vote to defy a 6lb rise in the ratings. Damselfly placed in a strong handicap at Naas last time and she is likely to be in the shake-up again, while My Silver Nails, Akua, Lisard Lady and Air Of Nobility also hold claims in a competitive event.

English raider LARCHMONT LAD was deemed good enough to run in the 2000 Guineas earlier in the season and the three-year-old returned to form on stable bow for David O'Meara last time out, finishing third in a similar standard of race at Sandown. A drop in trip looks perfect and he could get the better of recent French Group 1 second So Beloved. Celebration looks progressive under title-chasing Colin Keane, while Texas Rock rates best of the remainder.

This looks to be a nice opening for HASSELNOTT, who just failed to match the first two for stamina in the final furlong last time out and the four-year-old drops in distance with Colin Keane in the saddle today. Well backed that day, any market support here would make him of additional interest. Bobby Jean has some fair form in the book but has a 378 day absence to overcome, while Blairmayne impressed last time but might want faster ground.

There is a lot of potential in this field but a lack of proven group quality. HAZAPOUR made a good impression when winning a competitive maiden at Galway back in August and that performance suggested that he has a bright future ahead of him. Saracen Knight appeared to be a relentless galloper when winning at Gowran Park earlier in the month and this trip should play to his strengths. Burgundy Boy and Flag Of Honour are others to note, while Nibiru has to be of interest given that this yard do not produce many first-time-out juvenile winners.

FIESOLE struck over this trip at Gowran in August and found 1m2f on the sharp side when third at Naas last time. Eoin Doyle's charge has been eased 1lb for that performance and will appreciate this step back up in trip. Mawaany is another stepping up from 1m2f after going down by only a neck off 2lb lower at the Curragh and is the one expected to put up most resistance. Emperor Waltz is unexposed and could improve in first-time cheekpieces, while Landsman finished his race off well after being hampered here last month and could also take a hand.

MOKHALAD disappointed when stepped up to 1m4f at Dundalk on debut for his new stable last time but makes some appeal on his earlier efforts for Sir Michael Stoute and may improve for this drop back in distance. Free Ranger has been running well in defeat and wouldn't need to find much improvement in order to get competitive, while Curly Girl has been knocking on the door over 7f at Dundalk and could also take a hand now granted this additional furlong.
