I AM SUPERMAN did not appear to relish the step up to 1m at Naas last time out but he is the one to beat following his narrow defeat in a 23-runner maiden at the Curragh in August. That's Not Me is the most exposed of these but her form is good and she gets plenty of weight from her main rivals. Summerset and Sevenaday are others who merit consideration.

COULD BE KING has not been disgraced in Group races won by Ten Sovereigns and Anthony Van Dyck in recent months and he clearly sets the standard. Mofakker should win races based on previous performances and he may improve for the application of a first-time visor. Wargrave is another who brings Group/Listed form to the table and he could pose a threat to the selection. Any market support for Apprenticeship, Kasriyann or Snow Ocean would have to be noted.

Gentil J romped home by seven lengths at Galway last month but the handicapper has reacted with a 17lb rise. Narrow preference, therefore, is for INSIGNIA OF RANK, an improving three-year-old who returned to winning ways over 1m1f at Tipperary last time and is expected to remain competitive over this shorter trip. Gymkhana was far from disgraced when third in Listed company last time and could also take a hand back in a handicap.

TWILIGHT PAYMENT picked up the silver medal in a 2m Group 3 at Naas when last sighted and is expected to step up on that effort now cutting back in trip and eased into Listed company. Jaega is lightly raced beyond 1m2f and is worth a market check now sporting first-time blinkers, though a bigger danger may be Sir Erec, an unexposed Ballydoyle inmate who steps up in grade after landing a 1m2f Curragh maiden in August. The King is another capable of going well on these terms.

A Few Bob Short has proven to be a model of consistency throughout the season, but he is yet to get his head in front and is likely to find one too good for him again. Invincible Queen has gone close on her last couple of starts and could have more to offer stepping up in trip. However, preference goes to GET OUT OF JAIL, who is turned out quickly after a good effort at Ayr behind a well-handicapped rival of Gordon Elliott's in Cubomania, but runs off the same mark and a repeat of that effort would be more than good enough.

JAKE PETER arrives off the back of two victories in handicaps at Tramore and Cork and, having gone up 11lb for those successes, the son of Intikhab may well have the scope for further improvement despite the rise in the handicap. Shadow Seven looks more than capable of improvement on his second outing in handicap company, while Papal Parade and Acclamatio look best of the remainder.

FUWAIRT seems to get on well with Kevin Manning and was an impressive winner at Cork earlier this week. He has clearly come out of that race in good nick and the six-year-old can go in again. Rapture's Delight ran a solid race when second at the Curragh when last seen in August but might be better suited by a longer trip, while Drombeg Dream would be suited by some rain and would go close if she got it.

Time Queen doesn't look as well treated as others in this field but should still put in a solid effort, while Ecoeye failed to land a glove on an easy winner at Listowel last time but should still be competitive here. Caesar's Comet was disappointing when supported in the betting at Wolverhampton recently, so this can go the way of NOTHING TO LOSE, who has shown promise the last twice for this shrewd trainer and is now 4lb below his last winning mark.
