After edging closer to the target in each of his three starts last year, TRUE VALOUR looks the sort who is likely to have improved again following a winter break and the 91-rated colt might prove difficult to beat on his return to action. Comhghairdeas has placed in three of his four starts to date and looks sure to give another good account, while Pennsylvania and Sao Paulo make up the shortlist.

Puppetshow is sure to have plenty of supporters given her connections but the hood/tongue-tie naturally raise concerns, so CAMIYRA gets the vote. Promising in each of her three starts thus far, she showed that she has trained on when runner-up in a 6f Naas maiden earlier in the month and stepping back up in trip will suit. Yulong Baokui and Dandys Gold are others to note.

AASHEQ has earned a rating of 87 following three promising maiden efforts last year, including a three-parts of a length second behind subsequent Epsom Derby runner-up US Army Ranger, and connections will be disappointed if he can't get his four-year-old campaign off to a winning start. Surrounding is the obvious danger following her promising debut second at Dundalk, while Allegio also has place credentials.

Shannon Soul will arrive full of confidence following a couple of Dundalk victories and he must enter calculations, but ELUSIVE APPROACH shades the verdict. Jim Bolger's mare is another on the hat-trick mission after two game wins on the all-weather and receiving 10lb off her main rival could prove decisive. Adieux and Prove The Point are others to keep an eye on.

SONG OF NAMIBIA remains on a workable mark of 80 on just her third start for Ger Lyons and first-time cheekpieces coupled with a return to slightly better ground could see the six-year-old start to fulfil her early promise. Sister Blandina continues to improve and made a promising reappearance at Naas recently, while Mainicin could bounce back from a poor run at Naas a fortnight ago. Asangy needs a market check after a 325 day absence from the racecourse.

MEMORIAL ROSE showed promise in three Dundalk maidens over 1m earlier in the year and it would be no surprise if she put in a career best on her handicap debut from an opening mark of 61. The daughter of Dalakhani is from the family of Casual Conquest and this step up in trip should be in her favour. Galtymore is another handicap debutant to note, while Tilly's Chilli and Epitaph have an each-way shout.

Locus Standi would be extremely hard to beat if transferring his recent all-weather form to the turf but his form on the grass does not inspire much confidence. BAY HILL has only had two starts since a lengthy break, one on the Flat and one over hurdles, and his fourth-placed finish at Cork recently was a very promising effort. Muroor won a seller at Leicester for David O'Meara when last seen on the Flat, while Mallory Heights is entitled to improve for his comeback run at Leopardstown when last seen.

ROLANNA ended last season with an encouraging run at the Curragh in October and she made the frame on her seasonal return at Tipperary recently. With that run under her belt the five-year-old can be taken to return to winning ways. Ripped would have a big chance based on his third-placed finish at Navan last September but the lack of a recent run is a worry. Others to note are Bomber Jackson, Give Battle and Solar Heat.
